Finding a straight screw-in type adapter like this was a chore, as most are angled. Other straight connectors resemble this adapter, but are rubber and non-threaded, for quick connection. They work well, but on occasion, pop out under draining water pressure, leaving a mess (especially when dealing with nasty poo water). This fitting eliminates this problem. Screw-in is solid and the quick-connect to drain hoses does swivel well, allowing for hose twisting. No leaks as of yet and holding up well.

The threaded part is overkill. It does thread to a 3†pvc, but I wanted to keep it as low profile as I could. So I hacked off the threads and it glued on perfectly to a 3†- 2†reducer.I can see how some folks can brake the hooks on it because it won’t settle onto the male end of the connector flush sometimes. So when you try to twist lock, it could snap off. But if you are careful, it’ll work just fine.

The original fitting that I got from the camper dealership was a two-prong, 3" fitting. It leaked terribly. When I installed my new four-prong fitting it locked firmly into place, much, much better than the two prong. The four-prong locking collar also has a feature allowing it to swivel independent of the threaded portion of the fitting, unlike the previous fitting. No more leaks. No more stinky mess. I'm sold!

Added a new sewer and this item works great for RV connection. Male threaded on the one end to attach to my new sewer pipes. Very happy with results.

Not installed yet, but I’m sure it’ll be ok.It’s difficult to find a 4 hook unit that adapts to ABS pipe, the 2 hook versions are too unstable when the weight of the pipe hangs on them and they leak. The 4 hook version overcomes this.I was able to easily find 4 hook versions which attach to flexible pipe, none for connection to ABS though until I found this one on Amazon.I’ve seen other reviews that mention that the o ring seal needs to be larger, I’ll find out when I install.
