Our valve setters are used to set 4 – 16″ gate valves into place before connecting to the pipe. The upper slide handle slides down, over the valve nut so the valve is secure while lifting. Our setters are load tested and tagged with a load limit of 1000 lbs. Now updated with a centering bridge to hold the setter in the center, which keeps the valve hanging plumb for ease of installation. The bridge also strengthens the valve setter from distorting as with some of our competitor’s valve setters.
