Product Description

The patented FlowVent Bag Attachment fastens securely to a Oil Drain Bag for a clean, hassle-free oil change.

The Patented FlowVent Bag Attachment Makes Changing Oil Easy

Drain your oil with ease!

Fasten the FlowVent Bag Attachment to your Oil Drain Bag for a quick, clean, hassle-free oil change. The FlowVent contains proprietary air venting technology to receive oil inside, but to bleed off air as the bag fills with oil, thus eliminating the chance of the bag bloating. The attachment operates by means of "push-and-twist" action. Simply push and twist counterclockwise to open the FlowVent. When bag is done filling, turn clockwise to shut off valve. Can fill multiple bags for high capacity vehicles by turning on and off flow. 2 on/off positions for maximum control - both through oil drain valve and at the receptacle.

I put in a lot of miles so I wanted to like this as it would make oil change so much easier, but it leaks. Tried a couple oil changes while shorting the tubing, changing the angle, etc. It has leaked every time through the spout.

I bought one of these to use on something other than oil because it fit my bag and had the venting and shutoff I needed. I read the review saying these were crap and wanted to see if it would meet my requirements. First I leak tested it with pressure. My bag almost burst and no leaks. So I tried to break it and see how crappy it was. I used pliers, vice grips, a hammer and I could not get this to come apart. In my opinion it is a rugged as any metal valve and perfect for my application. I will buy more!

The entire oil draining system isn't as seamless as you would hope. The tube running from the Quick Twist Oil Drain Valve is too small to connect to the ValvoMax FlowVent Oil Drain Bag Attachment. I had to buy a plastic connection adapter that allowed me to run a larger tube from the connector to the drain bag attachment. Another reviewer made the correct comment that the drain bag attachment should have been metal instead of plastic. That is a dead on correct comment. Once you get these different attachments all correctly connected and lined up, it makes draining your engine oil a snap. You know where the oil is going to go and you don't get your hands all messed up and no more spilled oil on your driveway.

Don't bother with this unless you have your vehicle jacked up to the length of the adapter hose - otherwise hose will pinch and will not be at a slope that will let gravity work the oil into the bag. This adapter also leaked pretty badly - 1st use. Will not use this adapter again.

I bought this valve with the bag with high hopes because the idea is great. I park in a residential garage so i don't have a jack or a ton of space to do oil changes. The main problem I had is that if the valve isn't sitting vertical, it WILL leak. Since I don't have a jack, I had to position the bag near my passenger wheel and there isn't enough clearance to have the valve sit vertically. I ended up spilling 10x the oil than when I just had the hose go into a container.Caveat: If i did have a jack and could position the container directly below the spout, it'd be perfect, but otherwise, I think you'll have a bad time.

The first one leaked above the open/close knob. It was a slow leak and I used rags to help not get oil everywhere. I'm hoping the replacement is better. I'll update this post after my next oil change...
