My 11yr old is slender and on the smaller side, so I ordered the 12 and 10. The 10 coat for perfectly! The pant length was perfect, but the waist was still slightly big. I'll be ordering a belt to go with it and they will fit great. He got a lot of compliments. We got a $100 suit for about $35! I couldn't believe the price for a quality suit.

The material is thin but construction is well made. My kids grow out of things so quickly and get “dressed up” so infrequently that this was a good “single use” suit. It looked good and was inexpensive.

Looks great! Fits even better!Fits my husky-size 14 boy so well! Pants are have a little extra room in the seat, the jacket is isn't too tight. The sleeves are and legs are the correct length.Usually buying him can be hit and miss. No tailoring just a perfect fit!

Black is NOT black. It is a very dark gray in lines that is a very nice suit but we needed a black suit and this is not it. Too bad because otherwise we really like it. Ordered a 14 for my 4'-11" 75lb son based on reviews and it is way too big also

We needed a suit for my nephew for my daughter’s wedding. As he is growing, there isn’t a need for (expensive) suit. He typically wears XL youth and we bought the 16 (too tight in waist) and returned for 18 (little big but should fit at Easter). He is standing on the right in pictures with flowers in chest pocket.Suit arrived on time, damage free, is comfortable, and once steamed, looked AMAZING! It met all functional needs and was a smart value for the money! This is a lighter fabric but should work for most occasions.Very impressed - would highly recommend. Please note - suit is dry clean - not home laundered.

The suit was made of kinda thin material but overall, it fit my child perfectly. It looks like an expensive suit when one is wearing it. Does not wrinkle much, was paired with a white button down shirt which made it look impeccable.

The suit is the right length and fits the shoulders but the waist is tiny. This is already bigger than the first one I ordered and it still doesn’t fit. The measurements are not accurate.I had to safety pin elastic to hold the pants on because I didn’t have time to get a different suit. Very disappointed.

I ordered size 18 regular for my 13 year old who usually wears Men’s Medium. Normal built. He’s about 5’7” in height, we did not have to alter the pants.

Van Heuson is a good brand for budget suits. They are typically made out of polyester, but made well enough. For growing kids who may only wear a suit on several occasions it's a solid choice.
