I just unboxed this and was uncertain about the size because typically I can fit somewhere between medium and large.This is a very dressy jacket for the price point, and lays heavily on me but is actually a thinner blend than what other coats I've found in this range.And now the bad stuff:If you get this coat be prepared to deal with the envy and jealousy of the public because they really hate on people getting really good stuff like this.That's the only real downside of this coat.I got a green one which is a dark olive color that looks more grey in lower light and is a green charcoal against the sunlight.I bought large and seems to fit evenly with a sweater underneath, otherwise it's just a tad long at 6ft on me.I followed up with a medium in black and it's more an ideal fit. The texture of the coat is dressy and not as forgiving as wool.It just needs to be pressed and should be good to go.

but it runs big. I'm 5'8" 180 and Im in between a medium and large. This was more an xl in the midsection. The shoulders were perfect but the center and arms were huge. Not cut for the athletic build.

I an 201 6" and I needed a XL. It would be a bit big if I only wore the coat but it gives plenty of room for a sweater and I really love the fit. Good quality and stitching. It compares to a coat that costs 5 times as much.

Bought this coat on a large for my husband, he is 5’4 he weighs 180 approximately. The coat is a little long for him on the length and arm but fits well on the chest area.

Lovely coat but needed to send it back as too big. If I’d have known it had to be returned to the USA I wouldn’t have bothered ordering as it cost me £35 to return it!! Edit: still waiting for a refund 5 weeks later!!!
