it fit perfectly in the lid of the litter box i am using, definitely traps more odor, i havent tried other brands and im not going to. these are cheap and i bought a ton of them. i've been using the same one for about 2 weeks now.

I have no idea how often you’re supposed to wash and/or replace these filters. I will say that I had my litter box with this same original filter for THREE YEARS before it stopped working!Well worth the money!
