I've been looking for black, square dishes with square bowls, forever. For some reason the square dishes were always paired with round bowls. Why? Anyway, I ordered these on the 17th and they arrived on the 20th - this is super fast delivery for Hawaii. Also, I took a chance that they would travel that distance intact. As luck would have it, they were all in one piece! They're beautiful. The sheen, color and design is lovely. My husband even said, "I love these!" Which shocked the heck out of me because I don't think I've ever gotten more than a, "it's alright," and usually a, "meh," out of him. But they are very nice. There were a few teeny, tiny scratches on a couple of the large plates, but honestly they were so small you could only see them under the brightest light and only if you were looking for them. The base of the dishes had some rough textures in a few small areas, so we took a 3M green scrubber to those areas and smoothed them out so they wouldn't scratch each other as we stacked them. This worked very well. 2 of the plates had a very slight wobble, but we use placemats or a tablecloth, so it isn't an issue for us. All-in-all, these dishes are a great, look, quality and value for the money and I'm so happy I finally got my square bowls. I highly recommend. I'll do an update if they chip easily, but so far, so good.

Leaving a review after about five months of consistent use. I will start by saying that the package did arrive with one of the small bowls shattered. I contacted Amazon who told me I would have to return the entire package in order to have another package re-shipped in which I did not like this answer. I decided to reach out to vancasso directly, sent them pictures, and they assured me that they would ship me a new bowl in a timely manner. I was a little skeptical as I knew that the Boullt would be arriving from China and also they were asking me to send it in a very specific format as far as my address and things went. However, they did send me the new bowl within about two weeks And my set is complete! The quality of the bowls and plates are amazing, they work well in the oven as I like to keep my plates preheated before serving my dishes!!!

Beautiful dishes, however one of the bowls was broken when I opened the box. Was unable to get a replacement and did not want to send the entire set back. Would be nice if we could purchase items separately.I do like these dishes, the size and weight are very nice.

I have been looking around for a new set of plates to accompany my new kitchen that is being remodeled. I stumbled upon this product while I was still online with Crate and Barrell looking at their Court line up for plates, cups and bowls and this is the identical product that costs a bit less and same time getting 2 full extra settings with it. I am loving the plates and dishware, this is well worth the money spent

This a beautiful set of dinnerware. Square bowls and plates are where it’s at, out cabinets are square aren’t they? The finish is nice and shiny, and they have held up well to use and washing.

Arrivati addirittura in anticipo con DHL, senza danni alla merce.Piatti di un blu molto elegante, molto belli, si lavano bene in lavastoviglie. Magari 8 tazze non sono necessarie, però anche quelle di buona fattura

One of the bowls arrived damaged (nothing to do with the product or the handling, just one of those things). I contacted them & straight away they resolved the issue for me. Wonderful customer service, great product.
