Great variety! It helped me pick what reed I really liked so I could buy a full box later. Saves money because it’s inexpensive and allows trial and error to happen. Love these reeds and the strength variety as well.

Arrived as expected, it's nice to be able to try different styles of the same strength

Okay, I just got this pack of reeds today and was looking forward to some great sound. I've seen some reviews on YouTube and thought "Hey, I'll get some good sound out of -one- of these, at least."Yeah, no.All of these reeds require significantly more air pressure/air back-flow occurs when I use them. They sound flat, breathy, and I was honestly surprised that my Rico 3.5 and 3 were far more responsive and LOUD compared to these three reeds (I didn't receive the bonus reed...) .It's possible I just received a dud package. They arrived intact as they should, so that's not an issue. Overall, I'm really irritated, let-down and I'm pretty sure that in the future I'll just stick with Rico. I tried all three reeds over my Bundy mouthpiece and my (CHEAP on Amazon, but I got ripped off at the music store, nearby) Palatino mouthpiece. The Palatino fared slightly better with these reeds, *BUT* that was weird given that the Palatino is more open than the Bundy, and the Bundy *SHOULD* have performed better, and I tested this across various embouchures as well.Just go with Rico. They're easier, louder, and the 3.5 yields some of those dark, moody & smooth notes that I had -thought- were not good enough for me and worth seeking out in other reed brands. I didn't find a good time with any of the reeds from this pack.

I'm a new clarinet player but have play a few other instruments as well. i bought these reeds even though they are harder than what i should be using. i have tried the V21 hardness 3, and it seems pretty good. as this is my first time playing clarinet, i cannot really tell how good or bad they are.

Vandoren is the brand recommended by my daughter's band directors and she loves them too. The sampler is awesome to have to try before committing to a pack of 10 of any of them. Although you can't go wrong with any, play feel is slightly different so you may find standard 3 is a bit too soft but 3.5 is a bit too much still... but 3 in 65 maybe better transition... things like that.

Disappointed. The description suggest that 4 reeds are included, but I only received 3. It’s still helpful to try out different reeds, but I was looking forward to the 3.5+ reed that is not included in the set I received. Please update your descriptions for future purchasers.

Love this idea and loved the reeds that came with it. I wish more companies did this sort of thing–I hate buying entire boxes of reeds only to realize I don't like the cut. Never thought I would have preferred the Rue Lepics over the others, but after trying them out via this card I bought a box.

My daughter was able to determine which reed worked best for her. She loves the sound of the one in black. She hasn’t worked through all of them yet. But now gives me an idea of exactly what to use without waisting money on something she won’t use.
