We installed track lighting five years ago, and all of the lights eventually burned out (and literally fell apart). We began searching for replacement bulbs and found these for the correct type of track. They slid right into the track and provide great illumination. We only needed two, but the eight provide us with additional replacements, and they were an excellent value.

I got these to replace some much larger, heads that were on the track lights when I moved into this condo. The new smaller ones are much less distracting visually.The new heads throw plenty of pleasantly warm light, and tend to keep it in a narrower spot than the old lights. They are super easy to install. The track is about 5' from the wall.I have a Lutron dimmer in the wall to control them and they dim very smoothly from full brightness down to barely on. When the lights are on at full brightness for a while, the backs of the heads get warm, not hot, so I think they'll last a long time.

I generally like these lights and they are a good deal for the price. I have bought and installed about a dozen of them and have not had any problems.My only complaint is that the 28 degree divergence is good for spotlighting, but a somewhat tight for room illumination. VANoopee makes one just like these with an adjustable focus, but it is only available for H track, not J. I would gladly pay a bit more an adjustable focus version for J track. Alternatively, I would also be happy if I could just buy some with a wider (40 deg) divergence.

I wanted an up-to-date look and these seemed great. I like them fine and they are doing a great job. I had to reseat 3 out of 8 a couple of times as they did not "come on" when I first put them on the rail. Be advised you may have to do the same and don't assume they are bad out of the box. After a few tries they ALL worked!!

Easy to install, consistent light color across units, build quality is top notch. Eight of these use less energy and produce less heat than one of my previous 100w halogens. I would prefer a more focused beam for art illumination, but these are really nice.

The light is warm and focused. I kept the old cans--I like the ability to replace bulbs, not heads--and the new ones look a little incongeuous next to them, but man-o-man... The quality of the light is so much better, now! They've been up and used daily for a month. Pics and a follow up, if I remember, in a few months.
