Perfect fit for my 2002 Avalanche 2WD. The design of the truck makes it tricky to set in place. But that’s not the parts manufacturer’s fault. Make sure you disconnect both ends of your lines coming in and out of this canister and blow them out with air to make sure they are clear !! Especially going to the purge valve !! Bits of charcoal came out when I did this installing the new one. Probably why the purge valve got stuck as well. You can’t beat the price of this part. It was about 1/3 what local parts stores wanted for the same part.

Installed and seems to be working just fine. My OEM part was brittle after 21 years on my Avalanche and fell apart when I was disassembling to replace my fuel pump. I originally bit the bullet and ordered and OEM but it had one of the tubes broken from poor packing and obviously being dropped before I received it. I returned the OEM ($121) and decided to try this one instead ($48).
