I like 5A sticks and usually went with the Vic Firth American Hickory 5As.That's a nice, classic pair but after the first hour of use I was constantly chipping pieces off the tips and thus blowing through sticks. I play rock and funk mostly, can go ape on the set from time to time so opportunities to chip / break are frequent. That is important to know for my review so if you are the same, you feel confident in trying them.Had a pair of Vader 7As when I was younger and liked them so figured I'd try my preferred stick size these days with Vater and got these. Awesome experience so far, maybe 4+ hours of use and there is not a single chip in either tip. Expected wear elsewhere on the stick, no signs of splintering, etc. Sticks are comfortable in hands, good weight... These will now be my go to pair.Check them out!

My son plays drums and loves Vater sticks. I asked him what he likes so much about them- he said the only way he can describe it is “a great feel and weightiness.†Tip shape etc doesn’t matter much to him, and these sticks are equal in sturdiness to others he’s used, but he simply prefers these due to their great “feelâ€. Plus, Stewart Copeland prefers the brand- so enough said!

Got back into messing around on my electric kit, however all my drum sticks were shattered, or too heavy. Didnt want to pay for Vic Firths, picked up a couple random sticks on here that lasted a few days each before breaking. Did some reading, landed on Vater's, been playing with them for months with no breakage.Very solid drumsticks. Feel good as well.

These sticks were part of a bundle that came with an Evans Practice pad. These sticks seem pretty good to me but I am a beginner. They feel comparable to more expensive brand name sticks that I have been able to try over at a friends house. Worth a try and definitely fine for a beginner.

A good pair of sticks, well balanced and crafted. They produce a nice tone as well. My only complaint is that they break fairly easily. One of mine broke within a few weeks of purchase (although I do drum a bit heavy at times, so this is partially my own fault).Durability issues aside, they serve as great concert sticks — just make sure to get a thicker pair for other types of drumming.

Ottime bacchette! Le mie preferite in assoluto!Per anni ho usato le tanto decantate Vic Firth 5a ma negli ultimi tempi, si spezzavano all'improvviso anche col rischio di farmi male!Queste Vater hanno un legno molto compatto e privo di venature, rendendole molto più resistenti e durature.Insomma non ti abbandonano all'improvviso come le Vic Firt!Hanno poi un ottimo rimbalzo senza trasmettere vibrazioni alle mani.Danno impressione di solidità e sicurezza già solo prendendole in mano!!Sono leggermente più pesanti.. ma per me che suono musica pop... Non mi creano nessum problema con il controllo e l'affaticamento!!

Llevo unas semanas ensayando con este par de baquetas y la verdad es que van geniales (de hecho me acabo de comprar 2 pares mas).Cada uno usa la tipologÃa de baqueta que más se adecúa a su estilo y técnica, por no contar las "manÃas" de cada uno... pero creo que al final la durabilidad es una de las caracterÃsticas más importantes en estos malditos bastoncillos del demonio ya que son caros de cojones y no paran de romperse cada dos por tres.De momento la durabilidad es mayor que las VIC Firth 5A Extreme, que son las que usaba anteriormente.:)

Ça fait longtemps que j'utilise ces baguettes, plus de 15 ans...Pour moi ces baguettes correspondent à ce que je recherche : très bien équilibrées, bon grip, vernis de qualité, résistantes. J'ai de très bonne sensation avec, et surtout le plus important, la qualité est constante. Je les adore !

I’ve been playing Vater for a long time now, many different models within their range, mainly the fusion range but i stumbled across this bargain deal and it was too good not to pounce. These have now gained the top spot for me in ‘that perfect stick’ the weight, the feel, the response, everything is perfect for me!I pray that Amazon continue this great deal as it’ll now be my go to for where to get the multipack at such a great price!Thanks! ðŸ‘ðŸ¼
