I've had these pillow shams for a while now and I am finally doing my review. They have been on my pillows for months and they have them washed many times and they have held up beautifully. The color has not faded, the designs/runches are still perfectly intact, there is no pilling, no loose threads, they seem to get softer with each wash as well. Since they are shams, they are not slept on; they are for decorative purposes. My mom is a lunatic; when I was growing up, it was drilled into us kids about never sleeping on pillows that have shams on them; only sleep on pillowcases. A touch of her lunacy passed on to me with the shams; while I don't sleep on them I have absolutely no problem reclining against them when reading or watching TV.Overall, these are really nice: they have maintained their color, softness, shape, and the design is still perfectly intact. Really happy that I purchased these.

These are, by far, the best pintucked pillow shams I have found - anywhere. They are silky, not crinkly, and barely need to be pressed. If you're not a perfectionist, you could use them right out of the package. I haven't washed them yet so can't speak to how they hold up, but they look so much better, right out of the bag, than any other offering I've found at this price point. I am super-impressed with these. Where others just look loose and sloppy, these are tailored and polished-looking. They would not be well-suited for sleeping, though; they are best used for decor, but they fulfill that purpose beautifully. I purchased a silver pair in the standard pillow size for our guest room bed and they look fantastic. I just wish they came in more colors, like ivory/cream and taupe.

This product is a set of pillowcases, not shams. They are cheap pillowcases at that. Very thin. They are soft but so lightweight, I was even afraid to wash them in the washing machine so I handwashed them in cold water. They came with strings sticking out of the little pleats, and sewn in random, odd places all over the pillowcases. I have no idea how that would even happen unless the machine malfunctioned, or if they were handsewn, the seamstress had one too many before her shift. I am keeping them because there are a few pros to the cons. They are the color described and that I wanted, and the pleat design is unique and pretty once you cut all of the hanging threads off of them. I also am going to use them on a guest room bed which is rarely used, so they shouldn't get ruined. There is no way I could use these in our master bedroom where we use bed pillows covered with shams often. If you want these for decorative purposes only where they will not get much use, I would say go ahead and buy them. But beware of how you wash them so that they aren't destroyed while laundering.

I ordered this in lavender. These were made much nicer than the pillow shams that came with my comforter. Lots of pintucks. Very nice! As you can see from the picture the white ones have hardly any pintucks in them versus the lavender ones.

I wanted some shams that were the perfect light gray, king sized, good quality with a soft stitched top to match a gray down blanket. Found them!

These are very nice pillow covers but I wasn’t 100% convinced I liked the fabric. Just a personal choice but they are still a nice cover.
