I have a personal and work computer that are hard wired to my modem/router. This allows me to have both computers hooked up. Since I only use work or home at any time, this simple switch means I don't have to keep disconnecting and reconnecting the cable to the computer I need at the time. The switch feels a little stiff and the cables didn't insert as easily as I hoped but since this is a one and done deal, I won't be constantly connecting and disconnecting so I won't worry about it. The A/B switch is a bit stiff, but at least you know which computer you are connected to when you move it. It would have been 5 star if the connectors and the switch on this device felt better.

I use this with my router to switch between T-Mobile Home Internet and Verizon connections. Verizon is great with speed, but terrible for bad weather. I hate switching network cables around, so I decided to put a Y-switch on the WAN (Internet) port. This just works.

I have two routers, one is WIFI-6, the other is regular WIFI. I had some issues with the WIFI 6 router on some devices, so, bought this switch so that I could go back and for. It allows me to quickly switch between the two, and use my regular router as a backup. So far so good. May reevaluate later.

ottimo o prodotto. Ho una rete ethernet a 10GB con cavi cat. 8 e non ho notato alcun tipo di rallentamento dopo l'inserzione dello switch. Lo uso per selezionare la connessione della rete interna al router della fibra oppure al router di emergenza 5G in caso di guasto alla rete fibra. Preferisco infatti una selezione manuale.

Had it for about 3 weeks and it stopped working. If I bypass the switch everything works if I use the switch the screen is black. Can't return item as I threw away the box........my bad!

Funziona bene e non ha bisogno di alimentazione essendo meccanico, ovviamente va una linea alla volta.....
