I had another changer I tried to use, one with individual coin slots and a spring under each that stored several individual coins. When a particular coin slot got down to the last 2 or 3 coins they would not come out, at least not without much effort.This one is much smaller and held by an expandable material, making it much easier to get the number of coins needed. Another plus is that it is small enough to store just about anywhere.

After working as a cashier for some time, I have become pretty obsessive about cash. I love paying with cash and I especially like to pay with exact change. I specifically got this to make paying for things faster. I hate holding up a line to rummage through my pockets or a zipper pocket in my wallet trying to come up with 67 cents. This thing is basically a tiny cash register for coins. I can come up with exact change in an instant. I like how it is a reasonably small size. Everything else I could find like this was about twice the size and intended to stay in your car. I keep this one in my backpack. If there was a way to make it even smaller without sacrificing capacity, that would be cool.The markings on the top are… Fine I guess. Looks a little cheap with the type on the top. You don’t really need to be told which side fits which coin but for what it is, it’s fine.

I was looking for a coin purse to put in my car for parking meters and car washes and other change-only transactions. The coins fit well into the holder and did not fall out. I like the silicone like material as I can place it in the glove box or center console, which are plastic, and they neither make noise nor scratch the interior surfaces when the car is moving, The silicone also reduces movement of the coin holder so it isn't bouncing around and making noise (distraction). I ordered three of them and placed one in each car. A very efficient way to store a significant number of coins taking only a small amount of space.

While this coin holder can hold up to $5.31 in change (according to what is labeled), it can hold $0.40 more than labeled (i.e. one extra quarter, dime, and nickel), so it can in truth hold $5.71 in change. All the better! As it's made of silicone, it won't slip around easily. It easily fits into pockets, but it's going to be a bit bulky.Still, it's been a game changer for me, whenever I need to pay in coins or I'm trying to cover exact change for anything bought in cash.

I didn't want something too large, which most of the coin holders were. This holds a lot, stays put and takes up very little room. Very pleased.
