This thing works great! It was easy to install once we found the studs in the ceiling. Getting it level / balanced was a little bit tricky but we were able to do it with some trial and error. I love that it comes with a generous number of hooks for hanging pots and pans.

I mounted this to my ceiling attaching directly to the joists above and although it is a little smaller than anticipated it fits the designated space between the lights and vent very nicely

This is a marvellous pot rack. I mounted it on the ceiling of my rather small kitchen with some heavy duty, black steel hooks with a length of 100mm and a shank diameter of 8mm. Each of those kooks can easily bear well over 100kg when screwed into a rafter, so with four such hooks holding up the rack, the rack ought to be able to easily bear up to 400kg. That is far more load than one could ever fit on such a rack in the form of pots and pans. The rack holds about 85% of my pots, pans, cooling racks and other kitchen items which saves me a lot of space in my cupboards. There are similar pot racks available which are cheaper than this item but I personally believe in buying quality and I was suspicious of the quality of the cheaper racks. The quality of this item is such that I believe it will last a lifetime or longer. NOTE VERY WELL: When mounting one of these pot racks in a ceiling, make very sure that the hooks go into the rafters in the ceiling and not just the plaster board. If the hooks used to support the rack are only attached to the plasterboard, I guarantee that the post rack when loaded will tear loose and fall down. Plaster board is NOT sturdy enough to bear the weight of pots and pans but sturdy steel hooks screwed into the wooden rafters will easily bear the weight of all one’s pots and pans.Five out of five stars. Highly recommended.
