This would have been complicated except for the excellent video on You Tube, linked to in the Amazon posting. Working well, sturdy enough for my purposes (a little late season shelter for plants shipped too early), overall quite pleased.

I am very happy with this cover. I don’t have a VegTrug but use this over a segment of my raised veggie garden that I replant mid-Sept. Applied a clear coat for good measure. Enjoying a second year’s bumper crop of mixed lettuces, arugula, cilantro, parsley, radishes n carrots that will fully form in Spring. Great purchase and doesn’t blow or lift.

Love the set. Bought the base because of this cold frame option. I am happy with it so far. It is delicate so I hope it lasts. The “plexiglass†part is pretty lightweight. I have a piece of plywood out next to it in case we get a bad hailstorm I can try to put that on there to protect it.After it’s assembled you do need to handle with care cause it easily came apart in one corner. We were able to fix it and add a screw.

Shipping was delayed. Box was a little dinged up. Decent quality. Routed joints but a little loose and no glue. Missing most of the screws and no knobs or washers (see pic). Too expensive.

INSTALLS EASY.FITS VEG TRUG PERFECTLY. SECURED IT WITH SCREWS TO INTERIOR SUPPORT FRAME USED WITH ACCESSORY COVERS.THE BASIL AND ARUGULA SEEDS GOT A 4 WEEK HEAD START.WILL STORE IT NOW SINCE THE WEATHER IS WARM. I WILL USE IT AGAIN IN MARCH 2023.

Like the look. Not sure how sturdy as I cannot build it. Thoroughly pissed that I now how to fit back into box and send back. Would give it zero starts if rating system allowed.
