I use this for mounting pedals to my pedalboard, and it works great. The adhesive backing is VERY strong, as is the velcro bond. No way is a pedal going to fall off my board.

This is very heavy duty. Backing for adhesive is a bit hard to take off but it holds very well. Have mines mounted to a cement wall and painted wall surface and it has held what I have put it on.

It is much more sturdy and adhesive than the small adhesive velcro tapes I was using. Works well.

This is a hard product to review as reviews of this product are as limitless as the manner in which this product has been used.The product itself is of the highest quality but the sticky tape on the backing is at best, mediocre and from my point of view, one needs to use additional glue to hold the tape in place. As to gluing the tape, my recommendation is to try it on what ever it is you're going attach the tape to and then decide if you need to do additional gluing.This product is being used to hold polishing pads on a Ryobi, six inch, dual-action, orbital sander and a seven inch backing plate that is attached to a Milwaukee, 5455, heavy duty polisher. There are lot's and lot's of pad changes, hence the need to glue the tape to the porous soft rubber pads that whirl around while being used.By adding the Velcro tape to the backing pads of their polishers, one is able to use Hook/Loop pad systems to polish their car. Doing this upgrades the polishers from using simple tied pads or pads that use elastic bands to hold the pads in place to the much more convenient and readily available Velcro, hook/loop pads and bonnets.I can recommend this product as it's what I consider to be high quality but the grip on this product is so good, one needs to consider gluing or sewing the tape in place so as to prevent the tape from pulling away from what ever is using Velcro strips to hold it together.Once I've a bit of useful usage data, I'll revise and extend the above comments.Addendum: 30Apr13: make sure the glue has a long enough period of time to dry as even two days isn't enough.

This is the best velcro that I have seen, I have custom floor mats for my Lincoln MKZ, and I used the velcro to help keet them in place, and it works perfect, I would like to tell you, BUY

Love this stuff, glad I picked up the 10' version. I've already used it several times and had no issues. The 3M tape on the back works VERY well, I've used it to attach a pair of satellite speakers to my wall, attach the 2.1 system remote to the base of my second monitor, and lastly used it to attach my external SSD to the side of my case. I had tried using regular 3M tape that came with my LED strips for the SSD, but it wouldn't hold for long, since adding these Velcro strips I've had 0 issues with the SSD falling off the side of my case.Definitely good to have on standby should I need it in the future for other random things.

...BUT, it's d*mned near impossible to peel the backing from the adhesive side so you can apply it! All they had to do was make the backing a fraction of an inch wider than the velcro itself, and then removing the backing would have been easy. But, no, the backing is flush with the velcro (both hook roll and loop roll), making peeling off tge plastic VERY difficult. So I only give it three stars.It's a shame, because when you can manage to get the plastic off & actually APPLY the stuff, it really is super strong! Too bad the design is so poor!!!

This Velcro was great we bought it to help with our car boot cover as it kept coming unstuck. This Velcro was perfect and it had stayed in place ever since.

Strongest Velcro ever. Not meant to be used multiple times. It’s more of a set it and forget it kind of thing. I use it for pedal boards and to mount my mini pc to the back of my monitor.
