These hangers are just what l needed to ease the crowded closet! They are sturdy and the velvet keeps the slacks and leggings from sliding onto the floor! Wish they were available in multiples, more than three to a pack. I definitely need more, now that l have tried them!

I love the color on these-but that is about it. We have velvet coated hangers in our closet and I have never had an issue, but these are different than the clothing hangers we purchased somewhere else. They are thin, the coating arrived with slight peeling, and I don't think they will last long. I would not recommend this particular set, but I do recommend velvet covered coat hangers. Even these have made more room in the closet; I just wonder how long they will last. It is a little more than $1 for each level (I paid about $10) and the regular hangers are about 50-75 cents a piece when you purchase 50/60 in a box, so they aren't "cheap". If I purchase these again it will be in store so I can check the quality before purchasing.

I love these black velvet hangers but fair warning: I read somewhere that you should never hang any light-coloured clothing on velvet hangers like these as the dye tends to run and bleed into your clothes although I imagine black clothes would be fine. These hangers are also available in light grey and white which would likely be fine with light coloured clothes but I don't know if the light-colored hangers have the 'dye bleeding' issue. Another thing to be aware of with velvet-coated hangers is that the velvet fluff can and will flake or shed and stick to your clothes. That said, I really do love the elegant look of the black velvet but I didn't them for hanging clothes... instead, I use them for other purposes like display 'frames'. There were 3 in this pack so I use one to store hairclips and another to store necklaces and bracelets, watches, etc. The third one I will use for my collection of floral hair clips. They become more like display 'frames' that are so lovely that I can hang them on a wall instead of hiding them in a closet. I'm sure that anyone that buys these hangers will think of many other possibilities for using them other than hanging clothes. The possibilities truly are endless. I can think of a lot of uses in my kitchen for these multi-hangers but will look for regular ones without any velvet flocking as they would work better. The pictures I posted here are the first hanger with the beautiful Asian hairclips I've been collecting (and yes, I do wear them too whenever the occasion warrants it). One pic shows them on the hanger and the other is a closeup to show how easily they clip on to the cross pieces of these multi-hangers that I believe wereoriginally intended to hold up to 4 pairs of light pants or probably 8 leggings. I hope this gives you a pretty good idea of these hangers and how versatile they can be.
