I don't use optical media a lot, but the need arose when I began working with a friend who likes the format. After going through several CD-R discs that were ultimately wasted ("coasters"), I chose to get these so I can test the results without wasting media. I have erased and rewritten some discs several times with no issues. These are a great value!

I have yet to buy a Verbatim disc that has done anything less than expected. In fact, these are the best discs I have found to date.

These are 700Mb discs, however when running through formatting by the computer 60% of the discs formatted with less than 600Mb of space on them. Only 40% formatted with the correct space allocation, even though I was doing them all sequentially under the exact same conditions. I would have been bothered less if they had all been deficient, or all been deficient to the same degree.Their inability to make a consistent product has guaranteed that I will never buy anything from them again. If I am taking the time to make hard copies of data, I need to know I can depend on that data to be there when I need to retrieve it. Discs that can't even read volume size correctly, or allocate data to all sectors are of no use to me.
