First - the Pros: Verbatims are excellent writable CD/DVD-R's. I cannot remember the last time I had a failed burn, or a single disk that delaminated as I have with other brands. I have 15 year old disks that I am still able to print on and burn without issue. These new ones also burn without issue.The one and only Con: They changed something about the disk (over the years) that made the "hub" area look/print differently than the rest of the disc. It looks faded in comparison, so you can see a transition.Again, I really like these disc's - I just wish they printed as good as they used to. Don't get me wrong, the hub printable area still looks good, but for my use case I do not want there to be any difference in appearance.I hope verbatim does not stop manufacturing these even as printers without CD/DVD printing become harder and harder to find.

I have found that the best blank disc brand is Verbatim. I have fewer problems with Verbatim CDRs than any other brand.
