MAKE THAT 50 FOR 50....So far, 46 successes for 46 burns...pleased. Will definitely buy more.

I have been using writeable dics as backup media for years and never had any issues. This last purchase is garbage. The reviews said it wouldn't support 6X write speeds (which should have pushed me to keep looking), but a review mentioned that 4X was working. I can live with that restriction and bought a spindle. I always do a complete verify after writing to ensure my data is in tact so I thought I was good. Six months later I needed recover some of the data and was surprised to get read errors from the disc. I checked other backups I made recently and nearly all of them were bad. Save your money, save your time, and save yourself a ton of frustration and look elsewhere. Too bad, because Verbatim used to make very reliable media. Perhaps this was a bad batch.

I've seen others here say they recommend 2x and do not exceed 3x. I've had success with 4x but not any higher than that.

I retrieve old video from a variety of different formats and am glad for this size BluRay as I do not have to piece meal some projects or sacrifice resolution in the process. Verbatim has always been my dependable go-to media

I love these Blu Ray disks. They are shipped from Japan and worth the extra cost compared to the cheap disks. I have used the Single layer disks and now I am using the dual layer disks. I have bought them three time now and they work great.

The shipping from Japan was a bit of a wait, but I only burn

Warning do not burn above 3x , I have tried on 4 different burners and anything above 3x will give you coasters and for some reason blisters as others have pointed out. I recommend at 2x, I have done already about 15 discs and all work perfect but keep it to 2x.

It baffles me why you would put brand labeling on a printable surface…especially when you can still clearly see it after printing over it.

Ottimi Blu ray dual layer.

I burn these using macOS and get a verification error each time but when I run my own checksum afterwards all files are intact so I would advise anybody to not blame verbatim for what is likely a software issue not a hardware issue
