How do I get the book light to lay flat or stay open?
1. Open the book lamp to 360 degrees.
2. Hold at 360 degrees for 1-2 minutes.
3. Rotate it from 360 to 180 degrees and the book light will lay flat and stay open.

Got this as a gift and absolutely love it. You will need to train it to stay open but otherwise it's amazing. I love putting it on the rainbow of color option and watch it go between all the colors.

I bought this for my sister in law as part of her Christmas present and it was a huge hit with everyone! It was a unique gift, but really fun and I'm so glad she loved it. She says it has a special place on her bedside table. It's really cute when opened.

My only real complaint is that this book light doesn't actually sit open as pictured unless you have it on something magnetic. The lighting is soft and lovely and the visual is everything id hoped it would be but I did have to sort out a way to make it sit open as desired.It does hold itself open in full circle if you connect the "book covers" to one another. But for the pictured look, you need something magnetic to set it on.

The book itself looks nice with a laser cut spine for opening and closing. However, the light is extremely dim and the quality is terrible. The light is barely enough to see a book by. It lost its charge almost immediately and stopped working within a day. Had to return.

It’s a very nice product with a nice finish however, it does not open very far before it springs shut again. You may have to bend it and hold it a little before it will sit the way it appears to in the images that accompany the product. I’m not convinced yet, that it will ever sit open at 180 degrees
