Checked on a flat surface. One side flat, one is not. Close enough for braces, brackets & such, but I'm using for a table jig for cutting, so need it to not "rock" on a flat surface. Other than that, is/works as expected. (I'd buy again for other uses such as braces, etc, but not for anything requiring a degree of "precision")
