Not gonna lie I’m 260 so finding gardening equipment that can hold all my awesomeness is a challenge. This lovely seat can hold me!! My man even used it and gave his approval too. Helps saves the knees and back!! Was super easy to put together. I like how sturdy it is and that it leans with you.

I have several raised beds that range in height from 1 foot to 4 feet above ground and this works perfectly. I’ve tried lots of stools for weeding and berry/veg picking and this is my favorite. Love the rocker base. It’s easy to move from spot to spot, and if I remember to tip it sideways when I’m done it’s dry even if I come back out after rain. Has lasted all summer being outside in the rain, heat, and direct sun with only showing mild fading on the seat cover so it is wearing well.

I have bad knees from gardening for decades before I started using knee pads. I like to weed by hand. I don't like spraying pesticides on weeds because of the danger to beneficial insects and to the environment. I needed a comfortable seat to do some of the work because I can't work on my knees for long periods as I used to. This seat has a washable pad and is height adjustable and has a loop to grab and carry it. Because of the curved base, make sure you place it on the ground carefully as you can end up falling backwards. I think it is a somewhat overpriced but I really needed a seat with these features.

Only complaint is that the canvas type cover is sewn without any binding of the fabric edges. So when I washed it in the washer (from poison ivy exposure) it fell apart. I'm handy with a sewing machine so can repair it, but if I had known I would have zig-zag sewn the edges prior to use. The manufacturer wrote in the answer to someone's question, "The cover is removable and washable but best to hang dry." They should have said not machine washable!

As other reviewers have noted, if this was priced at $9.95, it *might* be worth it, but even that is debatable. But it CERTAINLY isn't worth 60 bucks, what a total ripoff. It's made of cheap molded plastic like some child's toy, and rocks only about maybe 2-3 inches. Pretty pointless and useless, there are many other garden stools that are solidly made and will last -- this certainly won't!

I bought this to work as a cow milker seat. Did not work as well as I hoped. It was too low and did not slide like I needed. However excited to try it in the garden for what it was designed.
