I'm beyond happy with this item. I read many of the reviews and I was not sure about buying it because of complaints about construction and condition of the item at delivery. I encountered none of these problems.Even though I was prepared to do some minor fixes in case they were needed, it was not necessary. Nothing was bent. It didn't need tightening, extra washers, bolts or any repairs. Some people complained that it arrives wrapped in plastic and that Amazon delivery is not careful. Not the case for me. It did have a plastic band around the top part to stick the shipping label. It arrived exactly when it was supposed to, on a Saturday. I waited for what was to be the larger Amazon truck. The driver parked across the street and one house down. I thought he would just roll it because it essentially is a hand truck. Instead, he carried it off the ground to my porch, and said my name, smiling as he set it down cautiously. This thing came from Michigan, though Illinois, and on time to Southern California during the severe winter of late Feb. 2022. So I was prepared for delays and damage. I use it to elevate large electronic amplifiers up to counter-top level. These amps weigh 85 to 110 pounds, and until I got this, I had to work on things at floor level. You can also elevate something heavy like that and just leave it on the 20 inch square base and work on it there. This is one of the most valuable tool purchases I have ever made.

I'm not the biggest or strongest dude, so wanted something to help out with various lifting tasks around the house. This thing is reassuringly sturdy - never feels dodgy even when under heavy load, and the wheels don't have any wobble or undue drag when loaded up. Lightweight enough so that I can easily load this into the back of my pickup.Mainly bought this to help with solo mounting big flat screens onto wall mounts. Has also been quite helpful with:- Uninstalling a big hanging microwave over my stove.- Installing a heavy ceiling projector.- Loading heavy/giants subwoofers during house moves.- Getting an old vertical Delta bandsaw in and out of my pickup. In the two plus years of ownership, this thing has paid off. When helping family members with moving tasks, they sometimes ask to make sure I bring this along.

I'm retired finally - and plan on working a lot more in my shop - and invariably you will have something heavy to lift and move around - generator, 5 gallon fuel tank, etc. A career in IT does not exactly prepare your body for physical laboe. I'm trying to avoid injury to a aging back and this lift is a big help in that task. It easy to move around and the hand crank works well. As others have mentioned it comes already assembed and just wrapped in clear plastic. Mine was not damaged but it easy to see how that might occur. Also I did not see any poor contructions or welds that one purchaser had. A 2nd use for this is a work area for small equipment. I had a 70-80 lb 1500W generator I was doing some PM work on - and being able to elevate that gennie to around 45 inches off the floor allowed me to comfortably stand while working on it. When I finished that task it was easy to move the gennie and store it several feet off the floor on a shelf. I was inititally reluctance on this purchase - another "thing" to consume floor space when not in use. This is one item I'll be using a lot...EDIT - 11/15/2020. Just a followup for this lift. No problems with it - it probably a good compromised between ease of moving it around and how much it can lift. Something that can lift more than 200 lbls is going to be more difficult to move about. VERY happy with it . Not something I use everyday but every time I use it I am thankful that I pulled the trigger on this "investment"...just a very simple device. No battery - no motor - no hydraulics - just a simple hand crank.

So this couldn't even lift 150lbs and it just broke apart. So the price that is listed is way to much for this item. I wouldn't get this item unless your planing on moving paper or empty boxes.

Enjoy it lifting up my packages. However the handle broke 2 weeks after I got. Now one back wheel is damaged and I cannot find a replacement. Can someone please advise how I can find a handle and a wheel? Thanks

After having back surgery, I need something to help me with lifting. This piece of equipment is heavy duty and has lifted so many items for me. Easy to use, the crank system where the base lifts up has been a life saver. I've had plumbers lift big water softeners with this device and they also call it a life saver.Prices have gone up since 2018 when I purchased this equipment or $499 plus $100 shipping but I'd still pay the $775 plus shipping that it costs today! Well worth it!

Back and lifesaver for me. Light weight and easy to use. Don't know how I got by without this so long. Good price for me, I couldn't make one myself for this price. Quality is fine for me and I am a welder. Very smart purchase for me!

Arrived great the second time as the first one was shipped bent. After 30 days the handle crank started falling apart which is a real pain. They should have spend another dollar or two when manufacturing decided on which handle to use.
