Very good hydraulic jack. It’s low height allows to getting under low profile areas. The high lift is accurate and easy to manage one handed. The jack is very well made. After 2+ years of use it’s works very well without leaking.

The jack ships with pretty good padding. There are a few tiny nicks at the top edge of one of the rear caster perches, though I'm not worried about it since it's aluminum and won't rust. I have not tried jacking with it yet. It needs to be lubed first. There doesn't seem to be any sign of lube in the wheels and all the pivots. After that per the owner's manual, basically with any new hydraulic floor jack, bleed and fill the hydraulic cylinder if needed before use.UPDATE 5/26/2024 - Bleed and topped of hydraulic fluid per manual. It needed just a little more fluid to cover over the piston. The fill port uses a soft plastic plug, the now common screw on type plug would've been easier to use. I lubed most of the pivot points with spray on Red and Tacky grease, and the rest using a bike chain lube. Initially the jack squeaked on the down pump strokes, but that seems to have disappear after using the jack for some brake work. It worked pretty well, easy to move around and pretty easy to pump up a mid size SUV one end at a time. As some others have said, this is a heavy tool, though the aluminum side plates help shave about eight pounds off compared to an all-steel equivalent size and capacity jack.** I noticed some user reviews mention their jack not holding the weight. This is not normal, return it if you get one like that. Never get under a vehicle with only the jack holding it up, but unless there is a defect or failure the jack should hold the vehicle up, though this is stressful for a hydraulic jack.

I bought this and chose VEVOR because they had high reviews on other models and this one was lightweight and had a flat, rubber saddle which was ideal for my situation.The instructions leave quite a bit to be desired, not explaining how to access the Hydraulic system but INSISTING that you check the hydraulic system before use. After scouring the internet for answers, I figured out that the yellow plate on top was supposed to be removed. I successfully removed one bolt and then discovered that the other was warped and stuck. I reached out to VEVOR and they said they would respond within 24-72 hours. After 24 hours, I had no answer so I did continue to try it on my own. I was able to use my impact wrench to remove the stuck bolt (I was going to run to the hardware store to replace it) but then found the plate would not move at all.I was able to pry the plate up and out and finally was able to access the hydraulic system. After confirming the hydraulic fluid was at the correct level, I tried to reassemble the cover plate to much failure and frustration.This was not designed for the maintenance it demands.Depending on VEVOR's response, I may update this review but I am extremely dissatisfied with this product and I assume anyone who is not a strong man with a fully equipped shop will be as well.

I feel somewhat guilty about Vevor products. I know they are foreign made, but the cost of a Blackhawk is prohibitively expensive for the weekend mechanic that I am- and they are also foreign made. This jack is not built to be light by any means, but in my garage that is not an issue. It has a low profile and in six pumps I can have the van off the ground. It is a sweet unit and I highly recommend it.

This jack does exactly what you would expect it to do. I had no problem at all lifting a F-150 truck and a Range Rover with it. What I think I liked most is that it lifts really high, which can be a little unnerving when dealing with so much weight, but it handled it like a champ. I also like how much lift a single pump would give you. Less work and better results. The locking and handle twist release performed as expected too. One thing I can’t stress enough is please use a jack stand before performing work under something so heavy being suspended. An accidental twist of the lifting rod could send a great deal of weight on you very fast. This applies to any jack, an is not a flaw with this one. I’m just noting that because it lifts really high.
