Every now and then, I acquire something that makes me wonder how I ever got by without it. So it is with the Vevor cold cut saw. It fit right onto the cart I built for my abrasive cutoff saw. Test cuts were dead square right out of the box. I am impressed with the overall quality of the saw. The base is welded steel, not a flimsy stamping. The vise is solid and easy to adjust for angle cuts. I cut a piece of 1 1/2" solid square stock. I could actually see my reflection in the cut surface. The only things I would change are the awkward handle that nearly needs two hands to press the safety stud and the trigger switch at the same time. It seems like a D handle would be more ergonomic. The other thing would be the angle scale on the vise. It's a cheap vinyl sticker instead of engraved or molded markings, already peeling up. That said, Vevor gets five stars from me for offering a high quality, acurate and powerful tool at a super price.

I was cutting miters with an angle grinder that ended up less than optimal. This chop saw does a great job at handling that task. The carbide blade that's included has made more than 40 cuts through 1-1/4" angle iron (1/8" thick) and it continues to cut easily and cleanly. The saw cuts cool. The pieces can be picked up with bare hands immediately. It does create sand-sized shards of steel so the shop floor would need to be carefully swept afterward. If a panel is placed behind the saw that helps keep the bits from flying too far.The only downside to this saw is the clamping system. It works fine if it's a 90-degree cut. But any other angle will slip when pressure is applied with the clamp screw -- it pushes the fence out of position. To avoid that, it's best to use a C-clamp or vice grip to secure the work piece to the adjustable fence. I also put a piece of sandpaper between the base of the fence and top of the table to provide a better non-slip surface that helps keep the fence at the desired angle.I don't do this kind of work professionally so won't be subjecting it to a lot of hard use. At $265 this seems to be well built and is definitely worth the price to get a job done right.

Bought this saw to cut one and a half inch stainless tubing. Works wonderful for that. Was surprised how well the blade that came with the saw cuts. It will also cut six by six angle as pictured. Great powerful saw so far.

I do not like the trigger.very very hard to engage and at an awkward angle for my wrist. The fence will not stay set...running vibration lossens it up and while the cut may finish well the next cut will need the fence reset. The cutting blade that came with it wore down in just a very few cuts...all in all it is a very poor deal. a little more spent should net a much better tool. I have a Milwaukee cut off saw purchased 20 some years ago that is Taiwan made and was better designed and the brushes in the motor went out. I shall repair my old saw and made get another twenty more years from it. I needed a saw right away and bought the Vevor hoping for about the same level as my twenty year old Taiwan made saw. But not so.

Used to cut 2 inch box tubing which was 1/8 inch mild steel, way better than an abrasive saw. Cut edge was ready to weld, not hot, saw easy to use. Buying a spare blade when I can afford one, and will be using for larger fab projects

Ordered this chop saw for personal nonprofessional work. Saw quality appears to be good and 1 step above the cheaper priced saws, Bad Is shipping. Amazon provided the shipping and the date changed three times receiving the saw six days after the first delivery date and I can understand a day or two late. So don't make plans to use the product until you receive it as I was hoping to do.

The options of ergononic and maneuverable is silly to say the least. It isn't ergonomic. The handle is in the center of the saw and not in a place a normal chop saw handle is. That said it's not a saw I will use daily so don't care too much. Maneuverable? The saw both Big and HEAVY! It is not what I would consider manueverable. Now, that out the way, the saw does cut! I was pretty nervous cutting thick channel with a blade. I went very slowly and didn't press it hard. Not sure if that's the way to do it or not. It makes A LOT of metal "dust" so be prepared. We vaccumed up to avoid having small metal pieces caught in a broom or whatever. The actual cut of the steel is shockingly clean. I'm finishing the buildout of a trailer so needed something other than a grinder. The saw will likely not get much use but is good to have around if you have space.

It's ok but not really precize, very loud motor, the blade should be a better quality as it become dull after 1 h of use cutting 2mm iron tubes. Probably I should spent twice the amount of money to get better quality.
