I've recently downsized from a full size suv to a 2010 ford ranger short bed, so I'm struggling to figure out how to take all the things I feel like I need and keep them organized/stable. I think I've found a solution that'll work now, this item is a huge part of it. I use collapsible egg crates at the back of the bed, 3 wide they fit perfectly in the space, but can slide around too much during regular driving. I got this bar and exteneded it to reach one side of the bed to the other just in front of the crates and now they are rock solid pinned between the bar and the tailgate. I can also take it all out very quick and easily if I need access to the whole truck bed. The quick release button and series of holes gives you a rough fitment, then turn the whole bar and the feet on the ends grip the two ends and extend out to create a perfect fit as tight as you want it. I took it apart and lubed the sliding bits and threads so they don't rust up in houston humidity. I think this thing will last a very long time. Good quality for the price, just what I needed. Buy with confidence.

my company rented a large Ryder box truck for transport of some large 600 lbs. containers. the containers are on rollers and needed to be secured. i remember using load bars on larger 53' semi trailers. so i started to look on Amazon like i do for everything else. I have used Vevor for their great value on hand tools and large socket sets. When i saw they made a load bar I immediately hit the buy now button, even though i didn't know if they were large or sturdy enough. I was very pleasantly surprised at how sturdy they were and how much they expanded to fit multiple applications. if you need a load securing bar for your truck or trailer these are no brainer!

I like it and I’m keeping it, but I was a bit annoyed that it came pre-rusted on the threads near the pad. Still it works easily enough and should keep stuff from sliding to the front of my pickup bed.

This is well made from top-of-the-line material. The design makes it easy to use and their strength makes them suitable for just about any load. It is also possible to load sheet material or dimensional lumber on top of them. Highly recommended.

This works well to separate cargo from my 5th wheel hitch, but the uncoated threads on the adjustment screws are already very rusty. I would have paid extra for stainless or coated screws!

If you have large items (e.g. bins or furniture) in the bed of your pickup and you don't want it to slide around, this is the answer. Simple to use and effective for anything that slides. Do stay inside listed limits.
