I needed a scale that can measure peak force/weight. This was the cheapest one doing it. It's reliable and seems to be reasonably precise for the type of device. All in all, good value for money

Made for fish; has a tape measure built into the side.The use of stainless in a lifting device is kind of startling until you remember, again, it's made for fish.I feel confident the size of hooks included won't fail anywhere near the rated load.The display is enormous. If you have vision problems, as I do, this is nice.I dunno about battery life, but it shuts itself off right quick - too quick IMNSHO.For my small shop and my small, cheap hoist on a DIY hoisting cart -- it'll do juuust fine.

My wife weighs the hay for our horse when feeding, she had been using an ancient fish scale for years. The Vevor digital crane scale feels substantial in strength and has proven to be consistently accurate in cold climate. . Nice features are the large lit scale window and the ability to tare the hay bag. Although we use just a narrow portion of its weight potential, its repeatability is right on.

There is no way to get the rubber grommets seated. The grommets I received are far bigger than the holes into which they are meant to fit. I'm assuming I was just sent the wrong size grommets. I even trimmed one of them down with a razor blade to attempt to get it to fit. There's no reason you couldn't have sent the device with those already installed. I would withhold a recommendation on this device because of that alone. I haven't even gotten to use it and I'm already not a fan.

Little to say about this scale. You'll get an actual metal housing and a scale that just works.
