Title says it all. The weld around the crank was cheap and busted on my second use, but replaced it with a washer, the spring for the break broke in the incident, so i have to manually control the brake, but it still gets a 5 star review. Saved me hours of sweat and time, the 1$ repair is nothing compared to the ease of use and productive gained.

For the price paid, it was well worth it. It is a bit bulky at the base but necessary for stability. Easy to put together and tear apart. I was able to Sheetrock an entire area by myself (female). Was able to place the Sheetrock on the stand, crank the shaft till it reached the ceiling, put it in place, and screw it to the ceiling.

It worked pretty well with these quality issues:1. One of the extensions is very difficult to slide.2. The paint job is very cheap and comes off readily.3. The feet are sometimes difficult to maintain in the right position for stability, allowing down efforts to reposition.

This product was a lifesaver. I am an average DIY person and I had no problems with this lift. I couldn’t have done the ceiling without it. It is adjustable and mobile. You learn as you go along and you get what you pay off. The benefit to me was buying an inexpensive hoist over renting one from Home Depot. Therefore, saving me money and allowing me to take my time and use as needed. I used it for lifting 4x8 pieces of Sheetrock or small.

So , the instructions are vague at best but its a pretty simple assembly. Have extra cotter pins avail because parts are going to shake loose in shipping and they wont be in the box. The loop on end of arms will not hold and your sheetrock will fall in the tilt process. You will break sheetrock and it will cost you money. The pin that slides into lift column fits snuggle but the entire "platform wiggles and rocks like a rocking chair. This product is nothing like the ones you rent by the day, spend your money on a rental. LIKELY the worst thing ive ever bought and i buy a lot of tools online.

This drywall lift thing was easy to use, very sturdy and well built. It made our job of putting up drywall in our new home easy. My husband is 70, I am 68 and it was no problem for us to operate. We were able to install 2 rooms in the new home we are building over the past weekend. The two of us could not have done it without this. We call it our miracle! Worth its weight in gold. We had considered hiring people to install our drywall, which would have cost us about $2,000 in labor alone. For only $200 this machine saved us a fortune. We loved it. Makes installing drywall so EASY!

Product arrived and was packed well, maybe a few scratches but it's a tool and it's going to get banged up anyway, so not a big deal. Assembly is pretty intuitive, which is nice because the directions are pretty useless. There were a few things I wasn't please about. For one, the locking mechanism to keep the legs out, is so flimsy that it doesn't hold at all, and they always try to retract when you move it. It does take up a fair amount of floor space, so not practical for smaller spaces. I also found the top to be quite wobbly. I suppose some play is good for installing the sheetrock, but I found it to be excessive, and made things much more difficult. While you can lock it in the horizontal position for doing a ceiling, you can not lock it in any other position, so it can try to rotate to the horizontal position on you, particularly when loading it by yourself. I'm just a DIY'R, so take this for what it's worth to you. I used it to get the ceiling up, with many choice words spoken, and skipped it for the rest.

My dad is older now so he can’t lift and screw in a sheet any more. This allows him to put up sheets at his retired leisure without busting anything. Funny thing is, it was so cheap I do t know why we never thought to buy one before.

Not sure what all the other people had issues with. This works just the same as one you would rent. Perfect for doing ceilings alone.

This is a great quality Plasterboard Lifter.I boarded the whole kitchen extension ceiling 2.7m high and roof lights just by myself with it and I'm not a builder nor have done the boarding before.It's easy to assemble and operate, its steel construction is very sturdy but also flexible enough to allow for in-situ positioning of plasterboard for perfect alignment. It comes with adjustable extension support bars which help with different size plasterboards.It's a great value for money and saved me 100s if not 1000s of pounds.Definitely worth the money.

Mi è piaciuto il prezzo, e la struttura, facile il montaggio! Il cartone dell' imballaggio è arrivato tutto bucato, la vernice va via solo con l' unghia, mancava il pezzo che si vita alla ruota del castello, la parte superiore barcolla un po', non entra in spazzi ristretti perché i piedi sono più larghi del cartongesso, del resto il suo lavoro lo fa' .
