Effortlessly Achieving Perfect Slices with VEVOR Manual Vegetable Slicer

Well constructed for noncommercial use. Easy to use with one exception. The plunger spring is quite strong. It would have been a simple addition to have it lock in the fully open position to be able to load the feed tray. But fighting to keep it open and load was a slight challenge, until I used a small vise-grip to lock the plunger rod in the open position.I also had to make a temporary extension that clips on to the exit chute in order for the shreds to drop directly into my 30 quart stock pot.Other than that, it shreds well, easy to adjust the size of the cut, it can cut a small head of cabbage, cut into quarters in roughly 40 seconds.The blades are extremely sharp. Use caution handling them.It is also easy to clean.The instructions, like most products made in China, are poor to say the least. They make no mention of the "safety latches" and what they are for. I figured out after some disassembly that they secure the blade and depth of cut attachments to the motor drive rod.Other than the confusion and the couple of issues mentioned above. This machine will get a lot of use for my 12 pound sauerkraut batches and my summertime health salad.

One of the best rotary slicers I’ve ever bought! I’ve only gotten like five of them now, but this one’s the best. I enjoy it’s easy to clip on a rotary blade. The easiness and cleaning it. And the quality of its slicing abilities.

I bought this to get a better shred for my yearly sauerkraut batch, 50 pounds of cabbage. Great concept, but typical Chinese execution. I shortened the feed plate spring by 3/4 inches. Also had to do a little work to the feed plate itself. Not a big deal. Had to cut the cabbage down to quarters. The shred came out super fine. Even taking this units shortcomings into account, this is well worth the price.

I was happy about this lightweight for fruit slicer, but after trying it out, this device is very flimsy, cutting was fine, but only allow cutting small fruits. anything bigger than a regular size orange, it won’t fit. every edges of this machine is pretty sharp, easy to cause light cut on the skin. Just returned on the same day we received.

Where has this been all my adult life! Great for making homemade potato chips, slicing for the dehydrator and/or freezer. I love this thing!

I liked the thin cuts and easy thickness adjustment. This light commercial cutter will easily process handfuls of food in minutes. If you are making small buckets' worth of sliced vegetables, this machine is for you. It does work, although the feed plate sometimes gets stuck in the chute.HOWEVERMost home cooks, in my opinion, will be better served by getting one of those rotary meat slicers instead.Rotary meat slicers can slice meat, vegetables and bread. Rotary slicers are not limited by a tiny, spring-fed chute. I am buying a rotary meat slicer because it will use up less room, cut more types of food, and be easier to clean (much easier). It will be a little slower to use, but a bit safer overall.

(after few days of using it I'm 100% satisfied, I will update after 6 months of usage)It works as well as seen in advertisement videos of any similar product with these functions. And it is with a very good price, the best I found.Comes with 1 replacement for each removable part.One thing that can be improved is the way to remove the blade part for cleaning, it's not complicated but not as easy as pressing a button as in some other products. But definitely not a reason to give lower rating
