It primed easily & no leaks until I released the pump handle, then it spewed out diesel. I did notice that the O-ring they give you is very stretchy, I don't think it's designed for fuel and it will squeeze out when you put the hose on. I replaced it with an o-ring of my own, much stiffer and put some sealant on the threads. Thought I had it licked until I went to fill my tractor up. When the handle released from my tractor being full, fuel went everywhere. Never did I think to check the fuel filter as the manufacturer had installed it. I figured the manufacturer knew how to install a fuel filter but I was wrong. It was barely finger tight. I tightened it up properly, and the problem disappeared. Be sure to check all the screws and you might as well replace their o-ring with one of your own, a better quality one and at least put Teflon tape on the threads. When I'm filling my tractor I latch the nozzle so that it continues to fill and then I put my finger on the power switch to the pump. As soon as the nozzle flips off I flip off the power switch preventing any high pressure from building up in the system. If you have a bad back and a hernia like I do, this sure beats lifting 5 gallon cans up over your head to fill your tractor. One other thing, I read a comment that forklift Forks won't fit under this thing. There are small notches One Direction under it that aren't designed for Forks. But the other direction is more than large enough to fit forklift Forks under so that you don't have to put it on a skid. I used my Forks on my farm tractor and lifted it right up and set it where I wanted it. The only other negative I noticed was the fuel gauge, it does not seem to be accurate. Be sure to look at it when your unit is empty (something I did not do - ugh) as I would advise trying to prevent running the tank dry. If you ever do have an issue with it not wanting to Prime the first thing I would look at is the draw tube pump screen to make sure it isn't plugged up or something. The second thing I would do is replace the fuel filter. I thank the manufacturer for making this unit. It is economical, well designed, works great, & greatly makes my life easier.

Finally a bulk fuel storage and refueling option taking the guess work out of setting this ability up on our property. Arrived quickly, 2 days, by UPS. About 100 lb, maybe less, empty. Other options of metal fuel tranfer tanks, separate pump, filter, and hose price out at this unit or more in total cost. I was skeptical but read reviews and felt reasonably safe with the product and company that supports it. Yes, I had to tighten fittings, and even retighten after first use, but it has performed very well. Recommend fitting on a pallet and securing with strap. This will ease loading in truck and protect from excessive wear during transport. Help 100 gallons safely. Plenty of fuel hose length and 12v power line. Overall well thought out and build should perform well for any years. We keep ours stored near to where we are working and out of direct sun but it could sit just fine in the middle of our work are in the sun. Time will tell of durability but I feel good about our experience so far and recommend this highly

When I first opened the box I found a few issues. First there is no instructions on how to assemble or use the tank. Fortunately I have experience in assembly and figured it out. The O rings on the hose do not seal the hose so I used pipe compound to seal the ends. The pump motor was loose but was easily tightened with a screwdriver. Once I started using the product I found the vented filler cap did not work properly but after working with Vevor customer service and Amazon those issues were resolved. Vevor customer service is a little slow but Vevor did exactly what they promised. The tank works and made filling my tractor a breeze. It is much better than hauling 5 gallon fuel jugs around and much easier to handle. I would buy the product again. I will caution on one issue, I was told the tank cannot be returned once diesel is put in the tank. How would you know if there is a problem with the tank if you can't put diesel in to try it out. Vevor worked with me on my issues so returning it was not necessary. Amazon also had a solution but was never needed. Thanks Amazon and Vevor.

This tank is light weight and durable, i did remove all the fittings and re seal them before use because of all the reviews that said it leaks, fired it up and it pumps fuel flawlessly, a big plus and reason i got the tank for was to suck fuel out of one container and transfer it to another site and pump it into the machines, all you have to do it hook up the battery cables backwards and the pump sucks great, i dont have the handle on it because then i wouldn't be able to use it how i am so i am not sure on how it functions in that aspect

I bought this by mistake and tried to return it the next day. But because it's a bulk item and expensive, you won't get anything from customer service or Amazon. They won't accept the return.
