I tried the 4", it wasn't tall enough. The 5" is perfect, but it's hard to move around due to its weight.

This is made out of something toxic, no way it’s just rubber. It stunk so badly in the shipping box that I couldn’t even imagine how much worse it would be out of the box, didn’t open it and just returned it. The smell also lingers where ever it’s placed. My car smelt like it for a good hour or 2 after it was out of it. And this is after a week of sitting outside in hopes to air out the smell.

I bought these for a dog who can no longer take the stairs up into the house. This worked well although it had to be removed for winter--too slippery.
