I was a little hesitant on purchasing this style of "any brand" tow bar from reading some of the reviews on these little guys. I went for it because of the price was just too good to pass up. i was quite impressed at the quality and thickness of the metal that was used. I could not find a good location or easy way to mount this on the bumper of our Jimmy, so i used the tow hook mounting holes on the frame and made some mounts for the brackets. i used some washers to fill in the gaps on the pins to keep them from being too loose. Used some extra chains from Amazon on a home made cross member mounted on the Y to keep the chains ,,, just in case, and tow lights purchased on Amazon. We drove almost 400 miles without an issue and i could hardly even notice that we were towing it was so smooth. Thank You

I had a tow bar built like this one, I thought. No way. The one I had, had the bolts constantly coming loose. The tongue would be flopping around by the time I reach every destination. Fortunately, it was demolished in a small incident caused by it co.ing loose. This one impressed me right out of the box. The paint job is overboard heavy and chip resistant almost. The bolts are black iron grade 8's. They don't loosen up! The gauge of the metal arms is three times thicker than my last set. The only negative which confused me is the safety chain is so light weight, I wouldn't trust it towing my jeep. Maybe a jet ski trailer. My jeep weighs 5,000lbs. Make sure you check the locking tension for the 2" ball latch. Mine was a bit too loose. Other than that. I'm very impressed for the money.

I purchased this towbar to tow my non working vehicle 1â„2 mile away to my Neighbor that's a mechanic . Thetow bar broke on the 1st use Bending the pins And damaging the "U" hooks that attached to the towed vehicle. I've attempted twice to reach out to the company To respond Left my email my phone number and my address have received nothing in return from them This throw bar damaged my My towing vehicle Which if I do the work myself will cost me several hundred dollars As far as right now I will never buy anything from this company nor will my friends or other acquaintances It would be much better to buy an American made bar For towing anything

This is not the highest quality tow bar that you can use for anything, but for the 5500lb weight limit, it is more than heavy enough. I welded up some custom mounts on my Jeep XJ and this flat tows the Jeep perfectly! Awesome value for the quality of the product. Read the warning, and do NOT use this on heavier than rated towing.

Hitch was delivered late due to a snowstorm.Not UPS's fault.It is a basic hitch, but looks to be welded Nicely in the places where it is actually welded. (MOUNTS)Make sure you mount ( Bumper mounts it's my car before) facing towards the vehicle being towed.Do not mount underneath bumper, or the structure will not hold the weight of a sudden stop.It is on the least expensive side of all the hitches out there, but it will toll my Gladiator with no problem.I'm very happy with the purchase.
