This is the 2nd one I bought. The first one the alarm stopped sounding after the initial charge ran down. Then the lock button stuck and I had to use an angle grinder to cut the lock off.

I use it for a trailer breakaway pin instead of a cable. it keeps a loose cable from dangling... Id say well made. Good price.. this is my second one for a different trailer. First one still going 5 years old..

It does "not" stretch to 4.5 feet. If it did as described it would be 5 stars, it stretches to 3ft11in. I will work for now but I will have to replace as soon as I find one a little longer.
