Ok, so its a glorified cup with a lid with a hole in the center. But here's the thing, it sits on my desk not in a car. Why? Well it cuts way down on smoke in my apartment. The biggest bonus is I will never have to smell a filter trying to burn again. The product is unremarkable and the lid is a little irritating at times to deal with as it seems to be "almost" round. The label leaves the sticky residue that requires lots of work to remove. But the product works well and I got mine at Lizards for Peace Wholesale for dirt cheap which always gives me a big happy. My advice is to GET ONE NOW- If you do smoke I will tell you something I noticed over the years. People who don't smoke see ashtrays as mini trash cans but this thing they ignore as a cup. It saves me having to pick gum and wrappers out of ashtrays after they leave.- If you don't smoke get one just so you don't have to enjoy the aroma of a smoldering butt with company who does smoke. Even outside at a BBQ this thing makes a difference.

My new vehicle did not come with an ashtray. Been 12 years since I bought one, so who knew? Anyway, I needed something so I started researching. Butt bucket got decent reviews so I went for it. It works great for me in my car. It does extinguish the butts right away, but if you think there will never be ashes in your car again, don't be fooled. Running the AC blows ashes around. Same with opening the window. Oh well. This little ashtray does its job. I'm happy with it.

This is the fourth or fifth Butt Bucket we have bought for the person in the back seat to be able to smoke. As I stated, we have bought these before and were able to take the sticker off of them. This one had the sticker on it so tight that it could not be taken off, no matte how hard I tried to remove it. Now everyone who uses it knows it is a Butt Bucket. :(

For the puffers of the world this is a fine receptacle to lay cigarettes, doobies, etc., and don't have to worry if the ashes are going to fall, fly away or be spilled by accident, and everyone with that nasty habit knows that ashes are deadly light. All it takes is an abundance of ashes in a regular ashtray, and besides looking really bad wherever is located (who is going to tell me that dead butts and concentrated amount of ashes look good!?), it affects just about anyone within the radius. I know smokers that not even 1 minute awake, they are lighting up before starting with the day activities. People who gathers so many falls, that eventually they fall on the floor, and I am not even talking about the nasty ones that throw their finished death wish to the floor, wherever that floor may be. Is hard to teach good manners in general, and this Butt Bucket Cigarette Butt Container is definitely a step in the right direction. For those who smoke a pack and a half a day, it will probably be a little on the small size, but always the possibility of emptying it is at hand. It also disguises, camouflages and hides the final products of smoking. Nice and simple, effective and not flammable. What else can a stoner that has yet to start vaporizing can wish for, as well as the compulsive tobacco smokers and those around that do not smoke. Everyone is a winner with this one. 4 Stars!

The product serves the purpose but it much small than I imagined. The person I bought it for smokes about a pack a day a full the cup n less than 2 days.

Yes we smoke, so what should you do with the butts. Put them in this bucket. We own quite a few of these. We have them in the cars, the golf cart and I have one in my beach bag. They are great for windy days on the deck as well.Easy to clean and thoroughly extinguish the cigarette. My car doesn't smell like an ashtray, hides the nasty butts and the smell.I even decoupaged the bottom half of the one in my car, looks cute for an ashtray.

Made the mistake and bought a different brand other than Victor 3-7012NF Bucket-Ashtray Cigarette Butt Container. This is the top of the line. The other brand's top keep coming off and spilling.

This is the Original Butt Bucket. Have used the same one past 9 years. Needed a new one and found it on Amazon. Bit expensive, but it's worth it.
