MIne was DOA but that doesn't mean they're bad folks.. I just hate going through all the hassle of removing the alternator yet again and unsoldering the replacement and then installing the next one plus having to find a way to box up and return the first one as I tossed out the shipping envelope when it arrived. I'm disabled so for me this is bit harder but oh well... Part looked fine to me and I have replaced many of these on different manufacturers of autos in the past. This was the first one I did have to soldier one lug in place though so that was fun.. The return/exchange seemed easy enough but now I have 30 days to return it or get billed for the new one.. Still beats the heck out of what the local auto parts store wants for this part, $124.00 each I kid you not! Talk about mark up, right!

Product quality better than I expected. Everything needed in one package, except the regulator. Still, for under forty bucks and about an hour or so of time. Saved me buying a 150$ rebuilt one.

This voltage regulator was normal to install in the CS130D alternator. It worked great for about 2 days with 14.2 volts charging at the battery. The diodes are good, checked with a meter and I am using a new battery too. It just stopped working. I checked the field wire and there is 12 volts with the key switch on so its not a blow fuse or anything. It has to be a failed regulator.I will order another to try.

Save some money and rebuild your alternator!! Just make sure to research your particular application. This kit worked on my alternator but I had to make slight altercations to get it to work!
