Please understand that this is a 12 inch fan who's velocity for it's size is more than sufficient. It has 2 speeds the lowest quite quiet. The higher speed does increase the volume but not in an annoying way. It only uses 27 watts of power which is quite low for the amount of air volume. Now if you want quiet go to wally world and buy the 20 inch box fan for $20.00, and watch the blades go round. You won't get any air but it's fairly quiet and makes a nice decorative piece for a sparsely furnished apartment.

My 12" fan arrived today in a mangled box that had been retaped multiple times. The fan was broken, the blade bent and disconnected from the motor. No packing materials were in the box, and the parts all made noise as I tried to open the box. Nothing works, no response from warranty.

It's okay for a small personal fan in the kitchen, or bedroom. Don't know why it has an inch between the fan, and the barrel, I guess fan companies don't know the closer the fan is to the barrel, the more air pushes?

I bought this fan the middle of January 2024. A few months ago after using it I smelled something. The smell was an electrical burning smell. I pinpointed the smell to this fan and immediately unplugged it. Obviously, at this point, it’s too late to ask for my money back and return it. If this hadn’t happened I would still be enjoying fan. It was perfect size for nightstand. Fan was quiet but had nice airflow. I saw others saying you couldn’t feel air but this isn’t made to blow you away like a full size barrel fan! It did it’s job..until it didn’t

Pros-1- It looks nice, really it does.Cons-1- It does not move much air at all. Hold your hand directly in front of the fan and you feel nothing. Blows air in every direction except in front of it. Is it possible for a fan to blow air sideways?2- On low setting it's quiet, on high setting it squeaks like a mouse in a blender.I'd give it to one of my worthless in-laws, but they'd probably thing it was a Borg version of one of them.OKAY NEW INFO-It's like this, the pro and con section above is accurate.... when I finished the first review I was p*ssed off and chucked said piece of junk in my storage room.-time lapse, a buncha weeks later-I looked at it again and decided to try and fix the mechanical vegetable.Removed the front screen and looked very closely at the blade angles.WowNo wonder it blew everywhere except in front of it.Blade angles were all over the place, like it was used for a Frisbee and a wall was the second player.SOOOO I broke out my angle calculator (MK-1 eyeball) and angle correction tool (right hand in a leather glove) hey those blades are SHARP!Proceeded to make corrections by bending the cr*p out of it.Now it sort of blows to the front.Fan still gets 2 starsI give myself ONE star for thinking I might be able to fix this piece of junk.

This fan really puts out cool air in the summer cools it down and it circulates in the room it's good to sit on top of a nightstand or entertainment center it works really well
