Meet: MatildaPROS:-She's a 2-minute assemble (or disassemble), perfect for photo shoots and art shows-Lightweight (I'm jealous)-Rich, stained wood base-The nice linen fabric is a perfect natural color, making all my hand-painted scarves look very professional-She doesn't complain about my choice of music or what I make for dinner. Doesn't shed fur or get hormonal attitude. May be my new BFF.CONS:-The plastic collar attaching the base of "Matilda" to her pole (How else do I describe it?) is plastic, which worries me a bit, but only time and use will tell how her nether-regions hold up.-I'm to scared to try, but she has a zipper in her linen fabric cover that seems to start just below the shoulder blades and ends down where her "ahem" would be. I love the idea of being able to maybe a quick wash, but the fabric is not stay-stitched (probably glued to the foam body). Most likely her zipper is not usable. No biggie. Matilda is a reasonable price given her cheaply made competition, and seems pretty sturdy despite the light weight. I'm quite pleased and can't wait to use her for a show!

I love the flat base on this one. Very sturdy, lightweight, easy to move around, adjustable up or down. (My old tri-pod mannequin broke because flimsy the legs just aren't made to stand up to any level of use.) Also very affordable. My one complaint is the fabric covering. It picked up a black stain from some clothing I photographed. If I had known, I would have treated the fabric for stain resistance before using.

As a small business owner of a vintage clothing shop (Hey Diana Pie Vintage if you want to shop my closet), I must say this is exactly what I was looking for!! It can be so hard to find a mannequin with the right measurements for vintage clothing but this one is just perfect. It's so lightweight, easy to dress up, and wears the clothing in such a flattering way! The price was decent, too! I decided to use it without the knob on top, which does expose the foam but from the angle I take my photos at you can't even tell. The only part I would change is it's rather short even when adjusted to the tallest height. But I'm working with it, and I'm already considering buying another one in a larger size for larger clothing! I'm very happy with my purchase and definitely recommend to other small biz owners! 😊â¤ï¸

I use this in my combo sewing, ironing and cat room. Originally I thought I would use it to style things and take photos for IG, but I'm not really interested in that much work. It's excellent for steaming blazers that don't work well with a traditional iron or steam press. But a steamer and this, that's how to get a blazer done. Or a dress.
