Very nice tinkly sound. We hung this on our slider for our dog so she could nudge it if she wanted to go out and it has worked out perfectly. We can hear it well but it is not obnoxious so if you have to hear it over and over for a shop door it won’t annoy you.

I got this bell for the front door of my business. It’s solid quality and has some weight. Looks nice, and makes a nice chime when someone opens the door.

They're nice traditional shape bells with a nice ring, unlike those pretentious cheap stupid cylindrical ones from Studio McGee that's so popular with millennial suburb housewives. The metal is substantial.

Terrible bell. The bell won't sound unless you swing it violently. The metal ball that makes the sound is far too low under the bell. Junk.

Got this for the door at my office as people don't always announce their presence.On the door handle, it really isn't loud enough, but hanging where the door can hit it while opening really does the trick. Almost too well as it has taken some getting used to.My coworker actually took it down because it was so loud.

This bell was purchased as a present and I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the whole thing. The bell was solid, not cheap and the ring was pleasant. It had a nice leather strap attached to the bell which again was a nice quality. Very happy with it.
