Looks great, however. Other than the dials. The peice has no metal. It’s all plastic.

This clock has made a great conversation piece. Really nice old timey look. The placement of the clock is similar to where the steam gauges would be on a steam engine. The same with the temperature. Nice piece.

There's a lot to like about this unique and distinctive clock, and just a few ways it falls short.It looks great from across the room, but up close it loses a little bit of its brassy appeal, as there's not a tremendous amount of detail.It's not very heavy, which can be good or bad based on how you want to use it.It's also not insanely big, which, again, can be good or bad.I wouldn't try to show off with this, but it adds a great touch to videos and pics if you're looking to show some steampunk flair.

My 87 year old grandfather loves anything streampunk.I gave this to him the last time I visited and he was pleasantly surprised by how nice it looked though being plastic. You can't tell it's plastic (in my opinion) unless you tough it. It's very lightweight.I wasn't expecting this to be as big as it is—usually it's the opposite.Comes full assembled, you just have to add AA batteries by taking the clock face & temperature face off.My grandparents put it on their living-room on TV fireplace. They told me every time they have company, someone always compliments it. They say it looks 'expensive' and also they didn't believe it was lightweight plastic until they felt it.Christmas is around the corner ðŸŽâš™ï¸If you're looking for a good quality, affordable antique clock that you can also give as a gift, I highly recommend this!

Pictures are accurate, this steampunk (mid 19th century look) clock looks really nice and has the appearance of metal. It is not metal though, it is plastic and very lightweight. It is a little on the larger size so you may be limited on where you can place it, it was too big for our mantle but fit nicely on a desk shelf. Clock works as expected, did come with a couple of batteries.Knocked off a star due to the plastic material instead of metal. At around $50, I would have expected a little higher quality. But still a nice novelty piece for your deco.
