This is a pretty good record rack; it serves my needs (as someone who is newly getting into vinyl). It looks nice enough but isn’t fancy by any stretch. Indeed, if you look at it very closely you can see that it’s adequately made (but not the best construction) - it should hold up without issue even if it’s not a craftsman quality heirloom piece. I found it slightly awkward to assemble but no real issues (it took me maybe 10 minutes) using a screwdriver with a TT15 allen wrench bit (I didn’t use the included allen wrench - though I found that (and the extra screw) to be nice touches).I only have two issues with the rack, one small and one large.My small issue is that the metal separation hook that you cna move in the middle of the rack doesn’t fit very well. Sometimes it feels too tight, sometimes, too loose. I will probably dispense with it altogether.My big issue is with its size. It is listed as 11.1 inches from back to front and this appears to be correct. But because of the way it holds the records (i.e., diagonally), the rack needs more than 11.1 inches from front to back to hold standard records - about an extra 2.5â€/63.5mm. This means that while the base of the rack is 11â€, the front of the rack needs to be 14.5†inches away from the wall. Thus, for me to fit the rack in the planned location (on top of a 12†table), I had to move the table a couple inches out from the wall (which is not ideal). If the foregoing doesn’t make immediate sense - you can just look at my third pic in which you can see the record sleeve touching the wall behind the rack whereas the stand and table on which the stand have been pulled a couple inches out from the wall.

Obsessed at how well this came out. It not that difficult at all to put together. It’s made sturdy and with good quality. Love how well it looks. My kid is obsessed with getting the vinyl to all her favorites lately and well I’m not equipped on how to display them. This solves that for us and it just was perfect! It accommodates well over 30 records and she got more room to add to her collection. Once we placed it on her dresser they sorta looked as they were elevated and she loved it. The price is perfect for organizing your collection and having it in view. If you got a girl that’s into getting the vinyl on the newest albums out on release, she will be totally obsessed with this like we are. Happy Mama, happy teenager and you can’t beat that.

I loved the looks and the product, so I was excited to put this together and use it. Well, unlike my other tilting bookcases this ended up being a dud for me. No matter how hard I try I cannot get the screws all the way in. The holes are too small and so what I’m stuck with is a ‘started on’ project. I had to put it to the side, and see if I am able to get help with it. If not, sadly it will go. I had high hopes for this, but after receiving this and the disappointment of not being able to put it together…I’d not buy again. There are other tilting bookcases out there that are far simpler to put together. This ain’t it.

Lightweight. I don't like the sharp corners that can dent the records leaning against it. Should have padding or be rounded rather than squared off bars. Other than this it's a good looking vinyl rack. May be better suited for books.

My son has started collecting vinyl records--new and old--and needed a place to store them. This is handy because it will grow as his collection grows, meaning the 20 or so records he has now do not need to be housed in product that takes up enough space to hold 5 times as many LPs. This storage unit is also well-made and decent looking. One concern my son has is whether the record at the end of the stack will be damaged over time by the weight of the other records pressing it into the pointed tip of the end piece. We shall see.
