I had 3 cameras already that were the older Blink ones and ordered 3 more during the Amazon Prime deals. My older ones were mounted in a way that I created so that I could put them securely on my gutter downspouts. I was looking for something better and something easier. These seemed to fit the bill. Plus, I can move these so much easier.One of the photos depicts mounting with a new camera and another with the older camera. They work just fine with either mount. I tried mounting the first one by unscrewing the camera from the base and then mounting the base to the clip hooks. Then I put the clip hooks and base onto the siding, and then remounted the camera to the base. BTW, 1 hook could probably suffice per camera, but I preferred using 2 hooks for a more secure mounting experience. The next camera I decided to do everything on the ground and then just slide the hooks under the siding with the camera and base already in place. It was actually easier to just do everything on the ground first, so I did the rest of them that way. I found that the weight of the cameras helped keep the clip hooks in place even better. They were quite easy to remove and reposition too. As long as the hooks and screws do not rust, I believe this to be my new favorite way to mount my Blink cameras. Other than a couple of instances of some small birds landing on them (I had a lovely clip of a common house finch LOL), I've not had the problems that I experienced with other mounting systems. I'm not seeing where climbing squirrels and nest building birds are going to be an issue with these mounts. They're reasonably priced too!I hope that this helps someone decide whether or not to order this product.

Had no idea what I was looking for to mount exterior cameras to my house, these work great. No new holes in the siding and feel very well attached once installed.

Works as advertised, although it can get a tad annoying and tricky to get a tight fit especially if you’re high up. But so far they have held up pretty well. Easy to remove too!

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy these were to install as well as how sturdy they are. I live in a rental unit and wanted to install a security camera and solar panel outside, but didn’t want to risk my deposit by screwing anything into the siding of my building. The solar panel definitely has some weight to it yet it has been held up with ease. Awesome product.

If you’re looking at purchasing these, it is likely because you either do not want to drill holes in your house, don’t have a good place to do so, or don’t want to purchase a power drill. Nonetheless, for whatever reason it may be, these clips will very likely get the job done. They are sturdy but thin enough to clip onto siding and other things. I have hung multiple cameras with these at 2 different homes and haven’t had any issues.

These clips made installation of our updated Blink cameras a breeze! No drilling and easy to remove and reposition if needed. Found these while watching an installation tip video and they certainly saved time and the need to drill two holes for each camera into my house. Anyone buying a Blink camera should buy these at the same time! Amazon should recommend this as a “buy both†option.

I needed something to hold a 3 foot long plaque with two, horizontal, keyhole slots in it. These clips seemed like the perfect solution. While the concept of siding interlock is the same, not all siding is the same. These wouldn't lock onto the siding at all and my first thought was to return them.Instead, I took a pair of electrical linesman dykes, the kind with the flat head, and bent the tab over. With multiple adjustments of bend, trial fit, re-bend as needed, I was able to get them to securely lock onto the siding. Will they hold the specified weight? Doubtful, but well enough for something lightweight like a plaque, thermometer, decorations and the like.Tip 1: The screws for the clips are on the bottom of the box. You have to take out all of the clips to get to the screws. If you only need one or two clips, after you empty the box to get to the screws, getting the rest of the clips back into the box is almost impossible. Open the box from the bottom first. Or, take them all out and store and label in a ziplock bag.Tip 2: If hanging something with a key hole slot, secure the clip to whatever you're hanging first by tightening the screw. Then, insert the clip into the siding.The plaque is up and secure. Sometimes you just have to think outside of the box.

i acquired two ring security cameras that I knew my spouse would not want to secure by screwing nails into the siding. These were the perfect solution. Easy to install. It is great to have the flexibilty to move the cameras and it is sturdy enough for the camera with two batteries. Really happy with this purchase.

This is exactly what I needed and if you have siding and don't want to drill holes into it, these are for you! They are great quality and won't rust so I would highly recommend.

In Alberta; where the wind always blows; these are holding up reasonably well. I have noticed that camera may relocate slightly after a high wind ... because YES, they will slide along the crack in the siding. But it is minor enough that I can live with it. I would buy again.
