Used to mount led spotlights on the side of my garage. Fit the vinyl Dutch lap siding perfectly. Sturdy item, not flimsy. Comes with hardware to install. Nice item. Good value.

I had never really paid attention to how the light by the garage door was mounted until it needed replacing. This is so much better than how it was originally mounted. It is more functional and looks so much better. It no longer looks like it was just stuck up there....yay. Very east to install and I feel like it will last as long as needed. I am very happy with the look and fit. Just make sure to caulk any gaps as siding varies a bit.

I was so disappointed in the off the shelf version of these things available. After spending 20K on steel siding, all I had were these flimsy plastic things that needed to be carved to fit the wall and fixture. And with the best of effort, they still looked like garbage. This mounting block is what you are looking for. It is the heavier plastic like an electrical box, very ridged. The laps fit my siding perfectly and the block screwed directly to the electrical box in the wall. Simple, strong and easy to use. Paint to color is the only minor gripe I have, but how would they ever know what colors to produce. A little on the spendy side, but worth it IMHO, it is a good product.

I did not know that these types of items existed until I started searching for a good way to mount an outside light on our vinyl siding. I found some at a big box store and then searched Amazon. The same basic unit was half the price here. It mounted easily on the house and being constructed of nylon I would expect it to last a very long time. One note of caution - be sure to caulk well to ensure you get no water egress into your house.

I added an additional light next to the patio door. Found a vinyl mounting box that matches my side well. It was simple to instal but did have to trim existing siding to make it flush and prevent water leaks. Vinyl is a strong vinyl. The light fixture was able to mount and secure the light fixture. Worked great for this project.

I'm slightly embarrassed to admit that until recently I didn't know about this type of vinyl siding mounting block. This siding mounting block is a very useful item for mounting a light fixture on vinyl siding, it's a great time saver. Even better, the siding mounting block incorporates a built-in electrical box, eliminating the need to use a separate electrical box. This Syunko mounting box even includes a plastic Romex cable clamp (see picture), a small but very welcome addition. I've used these mounting blocks several times to mount exterior light fixtures on my house, and I think they're really handy. I like this Syunko mounting block and I expect you will too.

I needed to replace the รขโฌลstyrofoamรขโฌย like mounting block on my existing garage lights and this was the perfect solution. The existing ones were falling apart due to age and exposure to the elements. I didnรขโฌโขt want to have to paint them anymore and this vinyl mounting block did the trick. I will be getting some additional ones for the rest of my outdoor lights. Good value
