I am a professional violist and this bow is unexpectedly good. I have a $800 carbon fiber bow that I use for outdoor gigs and the like and I'm not sure I like that one better than this one... The hair isn't very good quality, so take it for a rehair. It's also balanced a bit more toward the tip than normal, but it has a good strong stick, a really nice spiccato, and a full, resonant sound.

Much better than I expected for the price. Plays well. The stick pulls a little to one side when the hair is tightened. I expect that problem to disappear when the bow is eventually re-haired. (Although the re-hairing job will cost more than buying another of these bows!)

Excellent bow, full and rich sound, great playing stick!I will buy it again, absolutely! Great quality and price is unbeatable!This bow plays BETTER that many many of much more expensive bows!I love this bow for my viola!

I bought this bow for my middle school child. Less than a year of use and it fell apart. The glue came undone and the hairs fell out at the top. The hair did not break, the glue did not hold.

seems very good. nice balance and sturdy. I haven't used it a lot yet though. I asked a professional which one I should by in the price range I was looking in and he said this was a good one.

Amazing for the price but not the best. Because it is carbon fiber it has a very dulled sound in comparison to wooden bows. However past that it performs similarly to one of my bows (about a $100) but the sound is not quite as beautiful. Also the hairs break easily and took lots of rosining, as expected. Overall I think it's a great backup bow
