The fuse protects the low voltage transformer in the case of a short circuit or overload in the low voltage components, thermostat, or wiring. These fuses are sold in a package of 5 fuses. This fuse replaces Rheem Ruud Weatherking part numbers 44-ATC3 and 44-24351-01.

If you need a 3 amp furnace fuse, this is more than likely what you need. Just be thankful that your control board has a fuse otherwise you would be buying a control board instead.

You never know when you my need a spare fuse for a repair job. Service guys, remember the stores are not open all night. Keep a couple on your truck. You Can not beet the price.
