Your cart is empty.The Viper Defender III Cork Dartboard surround is the easiest way to get maximum coverage on your wall. The EVA Foam is 1” thick so you don’t need to worry about darts penetrating through, but it’s also light enough to easily hang on your wall without any extra support. Each side of this dartboard surround has a thin layer of real cork for a clean and aesthetically pleasing look. Installation is incredibly easy, simply snap the segments together and place it onto your dartboard for 8.2 square feet of protection. To make things easy, this surround is compatible with both 18” and 17.75” regulation sisal dart boards. The included adhesive compression band can be used to ensure a tight fit on either sized dartboard so you don’t need to worry about darts sliding by. Dartboard and darts are sold separately.

It was easy to assemble the jig-saw pieces of the cork board splash, it fits snugly around the board, puts little or no stress on the board mounting because it’s so light, and protects the wall from those “near missesâ€Easier than mounting cork or rug on the wall and far better than a bunch of dart holes in the wallpaper.

Product came well packaged, in 4 pieces that fit together like puzzle pieces. It fit snugly over my existing dart board. Darts stick well into the foam that is covered with a thin layer of cork. Only complaint is that it should come with command strips to stick it to the wall. I had some around, but if I hadn’t it would have required a shopping trip on Christmas morning.

See attached pictures for how it looks. It stops all darts from getting to the wall (you can see the holes in one of the photos). It was easy to put together and the pieces fit together well. It's also plenty light enough to hang on the wall with command strips. I didn't use the included strip that adheres to the outside of the dartboard, I kind of just stuffed it in there.It's a little more expensive than I'd like for what it is and the material, but there aren't many options or alternatives though.

I was nervous at first buying this because people said they were shooting darts straight through it to the wall behind and that the pieces didn't fit snug together... First, people who are piercing the wall behind it must have terrible throw form and throwing un-aimed bullets in the general direction of the board. The pieces may have some gaps in certain areas but it's hardly noticable. I wish the hole for the board was about half an inch smaller though. It fits some what loosely around the dart board but it hasn't caused an issue yet.

I had to cut part of the top to fit on my wall. My basement has lower ceilings. It works perfectly and it was easy to use a razor to cut. just take your time if you need to.

This surround totally exceeded my expectations. I have an 18" board, which limited the options available. (Most surrounds seem to be for 17 3/4" boards). This board looks nice with a cork finish on both sides, so you can hide the Viper logo if you want, or if it starts to get beaten up you could reverse it and have a completely new side facing forward. The soft core captured mis-throws really well. Nothing bounced out at all. I think it also looks good on the wall. The height of it is pretty long, and if you have reasonably accurate players you could probably leave off the bottom set of tiles. I like the looks with it on, however. I'm also thinking that the lower tiles would be a great place to attach Viper's laser toe line marker, which I didn't want to mount by screwing it to the wall. Note that they make another version of this that's available in a handful of colors. Personally, I liked the cork finish - it has a light and natural feel to it. One last note - the fit was perfect. Went on easily but snugly. Doesn't shift or move around after you straighten it out, and best of all, no mounting apparatus (screws, tape, etc.) to worry about doing more damage to your wall. It's not the cheapest option, but I find it worth the money for the protection and convenience it provides.

Its not the coolest looking backboard. But it gives a good amount of protection around the dartboard. My husband and I are pretty accurate so we will just use the four. But for nights with friend and/or drinking we will add the bottom two puzzle pieces.It was super easy to put up. Fits perfectly tight to my 18in dartboard.I threw some darts directly at the board to make sure they wouldnt go through. Total protection. Very pleased.

Cool stuff, only thing that you have to pay attention if you put it off the wall to store it in a way where the surround lies 100% horizontally because otherwise lower part of it would bend and does not sit properly on the wall.

Works really well but be careful of some darts tip length can go through this to the wall. Expensive for what it is but does a reasonable job of protecting more of the wall than a circle surround

C’est joli, les fléchettes s’accrochent bien, la cible fit bien dans le cerclePar contre ce n’est pas assez épais.. lorsqu’on lance la fléchette trop fort, ça transperce la protection et abime les murs /:
