Loved the weight and feel of these. They are also very sharp. The only problem is that when the Scissors are fully closed and you are not careful, they create a pinch point, which gave me a blood blister. Great Scissors, just be careful when using them.

I have never done any bonsai tree raising, but on a whim I picked a beat up, ugly, neglected one from a big chain store and took it home to try my hand at rehabilitation. I've used many gardening, poultry, and metal cutting shears, but never bonsai shears. Despite that, I can tell these are very high quality, heavy, and have a wonderful smooth cutting action, even for those gnarled and knotted mutant branches. I haven't used them for a prolonged amount of time yet, but imagine anyone using these for hours on end would not have any complaints either.

I bought this scissors because in the description it is stated that it can be used for craft and fabrics. But in reality it does not work for fabrics at all. I tried using it to cut a piece of cotton fabric, doesn’t cut at all!! I was shocked. Why then is it stated that it can be used for fabrics… this is so misleading. I’m not sure what to do with it now. I don’t own bonsai !!
