I have a money clip that was given to me as a gift that contains a small knife and nail trimmer. I have lost two of these when centering a courthouse or flying on an airline. So I purchased this for those times. However, I have not gone back to the other one since I purchased this money clip.It works awesome.

Looks good. Not the finest quality but just as good as any $15 to $20 clip. I've been using it every weekend for the past 2 months and it's still holding up quite well. Again, I only use it on the weekends. I only carry 2 ID's, one credit card and a $20.

I actually purchase this clip to replace the one that got lost in the airport from the TSA people running me around. I read a few posted about it not being able to hold that many bills, breakage, etc. I intentionly waited a few weeks before writing this post: I use it everyday and have had at least 400-500 dollars in it at times without issue. If I have a lot of bill I clip the money unfolded, if a small amount I fold and clip. If you are looking for a good functional clip that will hold your money well this is a great clip. If you are looking for something high end and fantasy maybe this isn't for you. I think the clip looks great and is built pretty well.

Unfortunately, the material that this money clip is made from isn't robust enough to maintain its shape and tension even with the hinged design. Therefore, the clip almost immediately bent out-of-shape such that a gap formed between the hinged arm and the back plate. Thereafter, the clip could not be used. I had to give 1 star, because the flaw makes the product entirely unusable. I owned another hinged money clip for many many years that never formed a gap and always sprung back to its original shape, even after holding a very thick stack of bills. This Visol money clip is very flimsy, such that it quickly bends open and becomes nonfunctional. I think it's a good example of a Chinese look-alike, which only has the look of a high-quality product but not the substance.
