Systems over 8 FT long ship in multiple pieces that are joined in the brackets

Each bracket collar is wide enough to share a dowel for configuring a system. Each dowel will get it's own screw to keep it from rotating or coming out. Once joined inside the bracket collars, a long run of multiple dowels looks like one long barre.

Our barres are 1.5" around to allow hands of all sizes to easily use the barre! We use Ash wood sourced in the USA.

We carefully powder coat each barre bracket for a finish that will last a lifetime! Available in multiple colors to suite any décor.

How many people can use the barre at once?

Allow at least 2’ per person or more depending on the activity. Barre Fitness typically requires more space than Ballet routines.
How much weight can these barres hold?

Barres supports 100 lbs. per linear foot of static weight when properly installed.
What height should I mount the barres at?

Ballet barres are typically mounted at 42” top of barre height, 42” and 32” for double barres. Barres for barre fitness are typically mounted between 36” and 40” top of barre height. Make sure to account for the bracket rise in your calculations.
Is the hardware for installation included?

We include all needed hardware for installation into wood wall studs. Installing in Masonry or Steel studs requires hardware not included but is readily available at hardware stores.
Are the barres finished?

Most people use the wood barres unfinished as they come. We do not recommend staining or varnishing the barres due to possible stickiness. For a wood preserver, we do recommend using a Danish oil or Linseed oil every few months.

The product is good. No complaints about the product at all. The brackets are actually larger and better quality than they look in the first photo.Just be aware of how you plan to mount it before choosing a length. I purchased the 4ft bar, which is actually 47.5 inches . It comes with two mounting brackets. My plan was to mount the brackets directly into wall studs. When I went to install, I found my wall studs were 24 inches apart, so I had to position the brackets 48 inches apart. I wanted bar to extend a few inches past the brackets, but because of the stud layout, the bar doesn't make it all the way through the brackets. I was barley able to install the smaller screws that stabilize the bar within the brackets.A solution would have been to first install a backer board to the wall, allowing the brackets to be positioned anywhere, but I didn't have those materials on-hand, and I was too lazy to make a trip to the hardware store. A cheaper solution would have been to buy the 5ft bar for the extra $5.The bar works great regardless, but some food for thought when choosing between some of the shorter lengths.

I am setting up a workout room and it was so easy to install. I took advice from a previous customer and put coconut oil on the bar and it is absolutely beautiful. Itâ€™s sturdy and looks great! Best of all made in the USA!

I ordered and just received the 6 foot Vita Vibe Ballet Barre for my wife's dance room. I read the installation instructions thoroughly as directed on an enclosed sheet of paper. I first drilled pilot holes into the wall studs; after which, I easily installed the lag bolts without any breaking problems like a couple of other 1 & 2 star rated comments. I don't think these posters read and/or thoroughly followed the instructions; otherwise, they would have not broken their bolt(s).My wife loves her Vita Vibe Ballet Bar; and, anytime I can make my wife happy, I'm happy! :) I highly recommend this product!Bob Beaulieu

i recently turned a portion of our finished basement into a workout area. With my wife not being able to go to pure barre class as much as she would like to, I decided to install a bar for her to use here at home. I wanted something of quality so after reading reviews I went with this vita vibe 4 foot bar which came with the 4ft bar and 2 brackets. The brackets are sup heavy duty and really good looking and the bar is just an unfinished wooden dowel. Im assuming the bar is unfinished in case you want to stain it, etc but I knocked a star off for this being nearly 100 dollars which is really just for the 2 brackets. I could have purchased a wooden dowel from home depot for much less. All of that aside, it looks great when setup, comes with all of the hardware needed and was fairly easy to install. Do know you must secure this to 2 wall studs with the lag bolts or you risk it popping right out of the wall. After installation i did a chair pose on this at my 215 pounds and it was rock solid. If you are looking for an in home fitness or dance bar this is a great one. Just a little on the pricey side!
